Selecting a light show mode or fixed color Switch power on to the light. A white light will momentarily illuminate, followed by the previously selected color. To select a color show mode (1-7) or fixed color (8-12), turn the wall switch off/on a specific number of times. Each number (1-12) shown below corresponds to the number of times to power-cycle the switch to activate a color light show or fixed color.
IntelliBrite 5G LED Color Modes ( Copy & Paste to make a print out )
1. SAm® Mode: Cycles through white, magenta, blue and green colors (emulates the Pentair SAm® light).
2. Party Mode: Rapid color changing building energy and excitement.
3. Romance Mode: Slow color transitions creating a mesmerizing and calming effect.
4. Caribbean Mode: Transitions between a variety of blues and greens.
5. American Mode: Patriotic red, white, and blue transition.
6. California Sunset Mode: Dramatic transitions of orange, red and magenta tones.
7. Royal Mode: Richer, deeper color tones.
8. Blue: Fixed color.
9. Green: Fixed color.
10. Red: Fixed color.
11. White: Fixed color.
12. Magenta: Fixed color.
13. Hold: Save the current color effect during a color light show.
14. Recall: Activate the last saved color effect.

Nice video, my pool was built in the 80’s and just had the 500 watt bulb that my kids would leave on. Lol just found the Jacuzzi brand screw on LED bulb that works in a similar fashion just couldn’t find any good videos on it. For an $80 bulb, can’t complain.
On that model you can turn the lens to get better projection forward or in width depending on pool shape and light location. It looks like that one is set wider.
Do these instructions work with the Intellibrite LED light as well?
Could you PLEASE take a picture of the light instructions that are located on door of the box? My pool company never supplied me with one, and I can't find it on the net anywhere!

I have a 14 year old Hayward Colorlogic that is just now starting to fail to where it won't lite anymore. i control it with Aqualogic (basically just turned it on/off to blue everything else quit over the years) my pool guy won't use Hayward anymore cuz too many failures. he will use Pentair intellibrite. have you had any success combine the hayward aqua logic controller with the pentair light?
Just got 2 of the smaller ones put in and they didn't leave the paper work with all this so this was super helpful. I assume the controller can just be installed in lieu of the switch.

@@UltimateTechHub Got my intellibright controller today and am a little confused on hooking it up since it has 3 connections but the simple light switch only, as usual, has two. Did you do a video yet on installing, if so I could not find it.
@@RascalCatify I do not have a video on the installation. I believe 2 of the wires connect to one connection. The controller should have detailed instructions.

@@UltimateTechHub I've watched the video and called my pool installer. All we want is solid BLUE color. I have spent hours trying to get it set on BLUE and once there, keep it there. Questions. Why does the setting change every time I turn off the light? Can you go from setting 3 to setting 8, or do you have to start from scratch every time? What is the difference on the 10 seconds off, the 5 seconds off, and how many seconds between OFF ON...I have the manual and it is confusing. Thank you.
@@sungodaz1764 Once you set it to blue which is what I use all time it will be blue when you turn it on. It should not reset eveytime you turn on the pool light. When you turn on the light with no additional flipping of the switch it should be blue. Keep me posted if you have any further questions.
@@UltimateTechHub lol...I can't get it set to "blue". It's supposed to be position 8, but each time I try to get there, it always ends up at red. FYI the installer put in a "paddle" switch, not a toggle switch, the weatherproof electrical box was too small for the toggle, AND it's a 22 year old switch. I'm going to replace the elec box and the switch see if that works.

How fast to you flip the switch between off and on? Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
It's pretty quick maybe 1 or 2 seconds in-between flips.
I think this is the light that was just installed in my pool. I have the Pentair app on my phone, but all I can seem to do through the app is turn the light on and off. When I click on the "Color Lights" on the app, it takes me to a screen listing "ALL OFF" "ALL ON" "COLOR SET" "COLOR SYNC" and "COLOR SWIM", but when I click on any of those, nothing happens.
Imagine wanting number 12 and hitting 11, 13 and 14 a million times before you get it right. LOL

I have an inground gunite pool with 3 lights. 2 lights for the pool & 1 for the spa. I recently just had all 3 installed brand new not even a month old. My question is all 3 lights work but only one of the lights does not want to change color. How can i fix this issue?
It's probably a faulty circuit board inside the light. I had my light go out last month and pentair replaced it for free under the 3 year warranty. I would give them a call for service. Should be under warranty.
Hi! what paint color do you need the pool for that color to blend
We got Caribbean Blue but white would probably be the best color. Some colors don't pop because the blue doesn't go well with it. Like red and magenta look a little dull. The rest of the colors look amazing! Thank you for watching I really appreciate it.
Should the attached Jacuzzi, (in ground, concrete) be synchronized with it? They aren't.
We don't have an inground jacuzzi just the pool.
Are these lights reliable? Do people have any issues with them?
My pool light switch is in a 4 gang wall box. It looks like the controller wont fit into the standard rocker cover plate? Any solutions?
I would call an electrician. That sounds like a custom job for sure.

This is great but I have two lights and each one is a different color now. Not sure what to do. Lol 🤷♀️
Are both the same model and brand? They should be able to sync up again.
I have the colorlogics ones from hayward and they both sync up after you turn off switch.

Yes still working perfectly. No issues.
Can you post a picture of the list you have with colors and numbers?
The list is in the description. You can copy and paste it then print it off.
Are your lights still lasting well?
Actually about 3 years after install the light went out. However it was under the 36 month warranty so it was a free light and installment. Only downside is I had to drain my pool.

How do you get back to SAM mode?
Turn on the Pool light. Then once its on flick the switch up and down once and its the SAM mode.

if you have pentair automation there is (easytouch or intellicenter)
to have rainbowcolors switch it 1547 times 😂 (or maybe 2338 times)
The switching is lame for such an expensive light...should come with at least with a remote

Maybe just buy the controller for $300 - the new one has WiFi and an app. This is not 1980 - who wants to spend $50k on a pool and use a light switch.

This light sucks. It's only good for blue and green. Every other color is only in the deep end. Red should light the entire poool red.
Nobody wants to talk about how absolutely horrible red mode is ?
It is bad. For me blue mode works best since my pool plaster is blue.

It is pricey that's for sure. If mine ever goes out I won't replace it. It's around 1300 dollars for the light and professional installation. Ugh

Had to pull an old 50ft wire. Even with the new Pentair light, I see dark spots in the pool (I have an oasis style pool), Not your typical rectangle.
I tried to buy the new IntelliBrite Architectural Series but could not find it. So, I got the old 5G.
I have this system and I am underwhelmed. It's almost 2022 and they could only come up with 5 LED colours? Then they change the same 5 colours 4 different ways?? It's totally pathetic. Save your money, find another vendor with some creativity. By the way, at night, they are too bright except for the red. Really crappy system.
Pentair is one of the cheapest companies. Their latest color led pool lights in the market was developed in the mid 2000s. Very limited color options and flippin on and off the switch a gazilion times is just nonsense. I can control my patio led color lights bought at costco with an app and select 16 million different colors besides dimming etc. Not with pentair. They need to get their act together. Its.almost 2023
