That's a Bobcat, not a Mountain Lion. I've lived in the area for over 40 years and see Bobcats once in awhile. But I've never seen a Mountain Lion out here. The Park Rangers say they do live here but are very rare. Nice Bobcat video, thanks for sharing it Ken.
We seen a young mountain lion at silverwood in 2009. Lasted 10 sec before lowers itself curb high where the t.v. parking is like it was coming up from lake early morning and literally disappeared. The guys we were with didn't believe. Foot prints found led off in brush heading to restrooms where even thicker brush towards the hills
Anything that looks like a big house cat and moves is a mountain lion to some people. If you see an animal with a long tail and a black puff at the end - you saw a mountain lion because that's pretty much all you will see attached to something moving really fast.
Dude, that is a large bobcat!! Note the stumpy tail. I saw a mountain lion in Carrizo Canyon, Palm Desert last year - long tail, and not far from a fresh-killed bighorn sheep leg with hoof still attached lying in the wash below. I didn't hang around long.
Yep. Bobcat. Really great video. Beautiful scenery and having him run through really made it.

I've seen one as well, a cub namely close to my house. I saw one running too almost a year and a half ago.
We should be cautious.

Bobcat. Gorgeous one, though!

Ears are dead give away for good-sized bobcat or even a lynx, but probably a bobcat.
A rare sighting of the short-haired Jackelope?
Great
That’s a bobcat but still really cool to see
