Yep, - that’s what’s great about the Internet - it brings out all of the ignorant trolls!
In a July 25, 2013 interview in the Boston Globe, Alison handled the “plastic surgery” rumors with her usual grace and charm:
“I guess old plastic-surgery rumors made me think, ‘Wow, I can’t even believe anybody would be paying enough attention to say whether or not they thought I had plastic surgery,’ ” she says. “And then it makes me laugh because I think, ‘And this is where I would have stopped?’ ”

This beautiful lady is an international treasure. She’s overcome dysphonia, and has never been afraid to challenge herself and expand her musical horizons. And she has a voice like no other. Someone is kind enough to post an amateur-shot video to share with the world, and out come the trolls. Pathetic.

Not everyone who doesn't like her voice/music is a troll.
Music is subjective to the listener. Just because somebody doesn't like this music does not automatically mean they are a troll.
She has a very good voice technically, and she's a pretty good player too. I don't particularly like her music, or country music in general. Does that mean I'm a troll ?
No it doesn't, it just means I have an opinion, which is perfectly fine.
I prefer folk music personally, and I think Jacqui McShee, Sandy Denny, etc have much better voices than Alison Krauss, and I'm perfectly entitled to have that opinion, and politely recognise her talent but not like her music.

Thank you so much for posting this. Don't you think the spotlight on her in this is a bit harsh though for such a well lit stage!? I have followed Alison Krauss' music since the early years, and this sounds as raw as she did back in her early days. I'm a happy bunny in that I have every recording she's made, with CDs, cassettes, and a few imported record (vinyl) albums. It's good to see her with a bit more meat on her bones, as for a while, she looked a bit 'ill'' due to too much plastic surgery (personally, I think she has had _too_ much, as she now struggles sometimes pronouncing the letter 'S' when singing, and they come out as Sh. Have a listen to ''The Lucky one'' live in June 2018 ( ruclips.net/video/iENhfsOtadU/видео.html ), - that's down to her cheeks being a bit too tight now).

I was thinking the same thing about that harsh spotlight! It washed out her beautiful face but still she looks beautiful no matter what!
