Right on. I told you yesterday I was watching reviews on the new Genesis GV70 sport that lead me to your review on the Lexus NX f Sport. Thanks for this review. You are the best reviewer out there.
You mean G80? GV80 is the larger suv. They do make a wagon of the smaller sedan, G70. It's a G70 shooting brake, and it is rather hot! Unfortunately, it's Europe only.
I appreciate that you use a consistent format, looking at every car in the same order, starting with the front exterior before moving inside. And if I want to know the price, I can just scroll to when you're first sitting inside since that's when you always disclose the price.
When you say 'compact' you're right. I had the chance to walk around a few of these at the local dealership. The distance between the shoulders of the driver and front passenger is small, it's tight front cockpit. Love the Adriatic Blue however.
That’s a great looking vehicle Joe………I would have like to hear your thoughts on throttle with the 2.5 turbo. They seem to be building mostly v6. That’s what I see at local dealers here.

Raiti your review always pumps me up with much passion. lots of props to you. you’re awesome!! one of few car reviewers with deeper knowledge of car design. so professional.
Thank for doing an Advanced trim review, mostly what you see it seems is the Prestige. Definitely think that's the trim level sweet spot, only down side is no LSD.
Looks like I'm picking this one up next week... Same trim but in that Brunswick Green... Gonna fake it like I'm driving the out-of-my-price-range Jaguar F-Pace that Joe reviewed that had that awesome satin green color. Can't wait to go on throttle... Thanks for these reviews man! Y'all helped me find my next whip!!
Wish the BMW had a more high quality screen as I prefer the iDrive command knob in daily use. This GV70 would definitely be in the running if I needed a compact SUV.
The wheels on this GV70 are superior to the ones on the GV70 that you showed two weeks ago (Prestige trim). Totally agree with you on the overuse of the diamond shaped trim pattern on the exterior front and back. Thanks again for the very thorough reviews.
Couldn't agree more on the wheels. Definitely think they are superior to the "higher" level wicker design, or whatever they call it. Also, I opt for the 19's vs the 21's. I'd much rather have the more comfortable ride which is going to comprise the majority of driving time and sacrifice a little on the handling on the rare times it'd come in handy.
Absolutely love this, my dad just retired from his job after 45 years and he’s looking into a midsize crossover to replace his Subaru Forester. This seems like the perfect car for him, about the size of a Lexus ux with a lot better interior
The "fake vent" design adds texture to those areas. If it were all smooth, it would look like it's missing something and be too plain and boring. That's why practically every vehicle does it and why you zonk practically every vehicle. Things don't always need to be functional. Aesthetics play a big role too. There is a thing called form over function. I also like the little hood overlap. It's a unique design, and they did it on purpose to be unique. It adds layers and depth.
Hmm, never look at one of these in a darker colour; with that particular trim, it looks like a hearse. I'd still get one, as my humour is a tad on the 'dark side'. The interior is a literal mixed bag. I like the G70 more, but if you're in the market for an SUV, there's a lot worse you can do. Great review, Joe. Thank you,Lori, you do so much!
