  • The Textured Chevron Stitch is one of those classic crochet stitches that never goes out of style! Many times this stitch is seen in blankets and it's no wonder why! The stitch is easy to work, features a great texture, it great for using up yarn scraps and the colour combinations are endless!
A free written tutorial for this video can be found here: richtexturescr...
I will be using a little bit of Pima Cotton Yarn by Lion Brand in a single colour. Here you will also see my using a 5 mm Birchwood crochet hook by Rowan Yarn.

This is perfect! I ordered yarn for a “retro” afghan for my husband just like his grandmother crocheted for him over 50 years ago and this looks exactly like the stitch she used. Happy Holidays. I love your videos. 🥰🥰🥰

I just love this stitch... simple and pretty... Is it possible to use any other stitch such as Half double crochet or double crochet by using same stitch counts?

out of my ears and see them in My dreams. lol.
I love your version as it’s the only
Part of my Nanna ‘s pattern she taught me decades ago I can remember. I showed her and she said “no you will not. Lol lol.
Anyway thanks for bri gong it sll Ba k.
My edges are not straight? I wish they were. I promise my count is absolutely correct. But the side with the 2 Tog edge is not straight? It seems to sort if go inward. Not sure what to do. But it’s not my
SC ch2 SC at the peaks She insisted On Not doing 3 SC in one st.
After learning the Chevron at Girl-scouts ( we had to make a small throw for a badge ( 11 years old. Mine you ).
I have only one ? My edge on one side is not absolutely straight. I’m
Left handed. So my left side. Where we start the 2 Tog SC. I just don’t get it. I can’t fix it. My st count is correct.
I appreciate you is anyway. and love the channel

Can this be done with a half double crochet if you chain two at the turns?

I love Chevron Stitch but this Textured Ch.S. is the most beautiful I've ever seen. Thank you so much. You're extremely clear on your explanations. Do you think this stitch would be suitable for a baby blanket? TIA.
