Hey al & Tom can you do a comparison n-gauge pro 12ft not the power versus the N-gauge power feeder 12ft. Guru are bringing some great rods out at the moment.👍🏻👌🏻
the 12ft is only 60gsm casting weight , it depends on your river fast flowing wide etc. You would have to jump up to the 13ft which has 80gsm casting weight.
@colinchanski is correct and no, rods which bend low down are not ideal for skimmers, roach etc because contrary to common belief soft action rods exert far more pressure on the hook hold per the amount used at the anglers end. Physics, rather than some badly informed tackle salesman tells us this. I sell rods for a living except I research the facts scientifically. If you want something to back up this (and can't be bothered to look up the science) look on old fashioned fast action float rods rec lines 1-3lb newer mid to through action float rods 3-10lb. If you CAN be bothered to experiment just test the amount of pressure each variant can exert with a set of scales. You can thank me for correcting you later!
Another great review. Can you kindly review 14ft - 15ft rods for stick float fishing? Budget and top end rods?
Thanks Alan and Tom, currently on the River Yare on Broads. Will pop over when get back 👍🏻

Hello wich is the best choice reel for aero x3 13ft. thanks.
FWIW. I use Ultegra 5500 XTD's on Aero X5 12ft and 13ft feeder rods and also use them on my 12ft Barbel rods.
The N zon ? No son thanks 😂can’t stand 3 piece rods, and that looks as soft as butter
You don't understand fishing
@@marcwilkinson7226 No , I don’t understand your comment 🤷♂️
It would need to be soft for the species indicated as per the question put forward
