  • Method Feeder Fishing With Peperami and Robin Red Pellets | Supermarket Baits
    Back by popular demand is the super market baits series ! Kicking off this year with #Peperami, I wanted to try this bait on the method feeder so I thought the best match in terms of pellets would have to be haith's robin red pellets. These pellets have an intense meaty smell and flavour that perfectly complement peperami.
    The venue for today's session is gingham fishery near bolton! See how I get on with this bait of the ages...
    Grab a brew or a beer and enjoy the video 🎣 don't forget so subscribe, comment and like if you enjoy the videos !

    Just a real quick thing.. you will actually get even more action if you switch from the green pepparami to the red one. By god do they love the red one. Also, the spicy sausge is super oily and really great for dyed lakes/murky waters. Your venue was quite clear so green'll do the job as it well did but trust me mate, swap to the red stuff! :D

    Cracking video. And using my favourite bait.
    Works a treat on the Trent with a couple of tweaks for the winter.
    Also... I use 2-4 very thin slices stuck through a hair. My view more sides let a a bit more oils/essence come from them. May sound like b*llocks...but... I dunno

    Bang on it as usual, great vid. Ive been using tinned smoked bacon about 6mm chunks . You might have a point about bands over bait stops, gonna put some in basket, sssh, 🤫 I'm on curfew ordering stuff, my missus 'll have a Benny. I love fishing but I can't bring myself to Carp fish, They're over fished and their mouths are so damaged as you can see in this video

    • @WestysAngling
      @WestysAngling  27 дней назад

      You just have to find the right venue where they aren’t battered. The problem is that too many people fish at some places, the high catch rate and matches really isn’t good for the fish :(

      @@WestysAngling I fish exclusively on rivers for Chub and Barbel it feels more natural and I rarely see damaged fish. Carp are beautiful fish but as you agreed they can be overfished. Like shooting fish in a barrel.

      That's why I won't fish dayticket commercial fisheries. 90% of people who fish them don't play the fish , they just bully them straight into the landing net .

    Those pulls & twitches on the tip are liners from fish moving/ feeding down the edges. Try not to strike at them. You know when it's a proper bite on the method, it drags the rod round. 🎣✨️
