Sarah do you have a guess at the weight. Very helpful. Thank you and good luck!

I wish I did...I know with a few days of food my pack is under 20 libs...and I’m trying to keep it to just 2-3 days of food now.

Sara Hikes NH That’s an awesome weight. Headed out for a 3 night pack and seriously thinking of going stove-less just because of the convenience of not cooking. How did you get used to the cold coffee?

For some reason I don’t crave it on the trail...I do like it when I’m in a hotel or town though...weird I know! I am drinking the iced coffee that is sweetened by Starbucks (powdered) when I find it to bring on trail...but it fortunately hasn’t been an issue! I’m a lucky one!

Really good that you try to pack out some fruit and vegetables and also some good fat and protein from nuts, peanut butter and cheese. I've seen hikers which only lives from ramen, chips and chocolate. Urgs....

Food is such a special part of each day...I think I would cry at night if I only had ramen 😉. But I totally get the expenses side of it for many hikers.

Good thing the Keto fanatics are not watching this...yet.
Your advantage...walking helps stabilize blood sugar.
Have fun and be safe out there. PB attracts bears like a magnet.
