      Cheers mate.. Absolutely belting fish if I do say so myself 😂..
      Aye it's been shite weather for us too.. To be honest I didn't have much hopes yesterday for the fishing.. But with all that rain etc, the lochs gone up 2 feet and I think all that fresh rain water spurred the big ones up... I'll be back out a look tomorrow afternoon again. You never know 😂

    Really enjoy your videos, can I ask what tippet do you use, as I am returning to fly fishing after a long time and the variety of leader options is really confusing. I love how you explain what flies you use.

      @@philc9105 cheers Phil.. Appreciate that... My current tippet of choice at the moment is the wychwood ghost mode flourocarbon. High strength low diameter tippet.. Really supple, good knot strength 💪

    • @Caithnessflyfisher
      @Caithnessflyfisher  19 дней назад +1

      @@williamwilson2485 cheers bud.. Aye those fish were in mint condition eh... The gloves.. It's to protect the fish.. Neoprene gloves are great because they soak up the water so in effect the fish never feels dry skin

    • @williamwilson2485
      @williamwilson2485 19 дней назад +1

      And do they keep hands warm. Where exactly is it you are. The fishery you go to looks ideal aswell love a day up there.

    • @Caithnessflyfisher
      @Caithnessflyfisher  19 дней назад +1

      Aye the gloves do the job nicely.. Once wet they warm up so your fingers are never really chilly..
      The lochs are privately run by our local Dunnet Head fishing club.. Harpsdale Fishery is good fun post loch season.. Least we still get a bit of sport..
