To play around Dragons Maw you can actually stun break out of it because the wall has a internal cooldown that lasts as long as the knockback into the maw. So you can dodge into the wall of the Dragon Maw and then stun break as soon as you get knocked to get out.
i'd like to add on that shadowstepping out of purifying flames, ring of warding and especially test of faith will still hit you unless you have a boon or invuln to counter the effect, making you waste an additional stunbreak or maybe even outright downing you at times really nice idea for a series, looking forward to the other classes ^^
I've been playing on and off since release and still finding this series very informative. Revenant, ranger and engi are the ones I'm looking forward to most as classes I still don't understand that well.
Good summary. A few comments: First, I was hoping you'd discuss the topic of "scaling defences" in particular with regards Aegis. What I mean by that is that Aegis is very powerful in a 1v1, but drops off in effectiveness massively when being focused by 3+ players, since an Aegis can only block 1 attack. Blocking 1 player in a 1v1 = 100% damage reduction, blocking 1 player in a 1v3 only = 33% damage reduction. Second, I would disagree both with mesmers being a predator for guards, and also with thief being prey. It somewhat depends on the builds here, but I find I have a decent chance playing into almost any mesmer, but a well played thief can be a serious threat, especially if they're making good use of steal and the stolen guard interrupt skill, and double-especially for Deadeye. And Third would be the Renewed Focus mechanic, which I guess people who don't play guard may not understand.
- what do you need ? - i cant carry anymore - :demon lady's go arrrrghh arhhhh arghhhhhh: - :smol demon goblins go raaaarghh! rattanichu! this is all i can think when hearing this music
S/D thief is the best shot they have in this matchup, and while yes this favors the S/D thief it doesn't represent the general interaction between all builds especially because a guardian can just use terrain if they are against an SD thief alone. I do of course mention that boon ripping builds counter guardian which should cover that either way

Oh wow, this is an amazing series! More of these pls mr. Vallun!
I'm amazed at how many ways to help players you are able to come up with, thank you for these. This series is particularly useful for me right now.

Be careful using copyrighted songs. Great video series!
is this the diablo soundtrack?
yeah boiii
You make guardians sound so amazing... Im a firebrand but i kind of suck
I will watch every video of this series I love it so much
i love using shield of courage for securing beast kills/steals its really funny seeing everyone go nuts trying to get that last hit for nothing
ooh nice!
note to self, see guardian=run
PS. I like your vids, but I also hate them, they really show me how bad I actually am
The only thing i disagree, ist that thiefs are the pray. S/D Thief counters guards because he avoids blocks and resets the fights in their favor.

Anyone that play against a guardian have this weird urges to pop their trap even though u know it's a bad idea ?
AYO WHATS CAUSING ALL THAT SPARKING AROUND YOUR TOON
probably the branded backpack
I got my juice box, Oreos and carrots and you can't have any if you talk badly about the best class in the game mesmer.
Diablo 2 act 1 score...
"dont walk on their trap" is a pretty stupid counterplay on conquest pvp... dragonhunter is so toxic and antifun
Get ready for a dislike from Mukluk.
