As a CardioThoracic Surgeon, I second all of the wise words suggested in this vedio. Please do not take this as strategy, just for lowering Uric acid, but it should be a basic part of a natural life style. For Hypertension and diabetes, other things may be modified, but basic remains the same. Well done Madam. Congratulations.

You are absolutely right. Water intake is the most important point in reducing uric acid.
Along with it, stop Non-Veg intake completely for 1 month. Once the Uric acid is normal then consume NonVeg in moderation.
And Walk/Run for min 5 km daily. Sweating will remove more toxins.

    Dear Ms. Diwekar,
Appreciate your video on Uric acid. But I must say I disagree with the fact that, Uric acid is just a waste product. Not many people know this, including doctors, that Uric acid is a very potent nervous stimulant. It helps to keep you alert. Simply because the chemistry of Uric acid is very similar to caffeine.
Also, it's important to mention that vegetables and salad are very helpful to remove the excess Uric acid. Simply because they are very high on potassium. Plus the animal protein needs to go down.
Plus for people who do suffer from excess Uric acid build up should ideally take sodium bicarbonate. Simple solution is to add baking soda to water and drink it on empty stomach. Not while eating, bcoz otherwise it would neutralize the stomach acid and create digestive issues.
And the most important thing is doing periodic fasting. It does wonders.
Happy to add above points to your very informative video !!
    Good luck !!

High Uric acid issue is not just clearance issue alone. In fact, the percentage of high uric acid issue due to clearance issues happens mainly in elderly people aged above 50 and is far less than the percentage of uric issue due to liver making high Uric acid due to other conditions like low testosterone, high insulin, high blood sugar, having the condition of genetically high lipoprotein(A) etc. So, the fixation has to change based on the root cause. A simple supplement like Boron can fix the issue for life in some people and if we go only with targeting the clearance, we won't be able to fix this issue in majority of people suffering with this issue. Just a small tip so that you can look into the issue from all angles.

Sure shot natural treatment. Eat parijat or prajakta flowers. Four five for a week. Your ankle pain will go.

Thank you for this Rujuta. I'm suffering from chronic UTI since childhood. When it happens I'm in the bathroom for for 7 to 8 hours and when it starts I start bleeding in 2 hours. It's very scary. Please can you do a detailed video like this for UTI. I would be most grateful. I follow a lot of your nutrition tips and exercise regularly with strength training 3 days. I need lifestyle changes to cure this.

Soya n soya products, mutter, chana etc are also very high in purines. They are to be avoided by a person with uric acid. Speaking from experience. If I take mutter two times in the week, i get stomach upset. Soyabean n chana causes allergic itching. Acidity ko curb karne k liye banana n milk is best.

All what you said is correct but repeatedly saying palak tamatar and dal ..Should not be banned is not very correct. When there is an issue with clearance then definitely we need to bring down the load on kidney for sometime and hence till the uric acid comes to close to normal we must avoid high biological value protein . Pulses are ok but not sprouts. Clinically it's not advised. Spilt Dals are ok. Tomato can be taken seedless for sometime.
Sometimes people have CKD and. Ant drink enough of water.
