hmmm your list reminds me of Russ's build before his motor blew. He had 282 whp, but with DC headers. So it doesn't seem like the LMT makes any more power than Z1 m-spec / Momentum intake. Here's the old video /watch?v=jC0vW6C1ZTE
DABcentral..........THanks for your comment. Believe it or not, OP drags pointed me to your dyno graph on facebook. I told him, without a baseline it means nothing. He told me I do not know how to read dyno graphs. I just recently created a video how to read dyno graphs. I hope Philip at OPdrags takes the time to watch the video, so he can finally learn how to read dyno graphs.
Jellofuel.........Not sure why his mod list would remind you of that dyno video, but you left out the best mod that was in that video, the common denominator to get high dyno numbers. I did 283whp..........that link you sent of Russ did 282whp, we both have Motordyne Shockwave exhausts to achieve those numbers.
I believe maybe with the right tune , supporting 550cc injectors Walhboro 255 Fuel pump plenum spacer , y pipe to single exit (or Ofcourse the Motordyne shockwave exhaust) it will defintely make more power in the top end for sure .
+MoyordyneG35, I have an 05 G35 Sedan. My main goal is to extract all that hidden power from the VQ35DE. I know there's a lot of bias but which 3" Intake would you recommend in terms of power and efficiency. I kinda got thrown off by all the technical terms.
Shots fired! I watched his video on the LMT tuning and I will say the same thing I said to him. DON'T GET COUGHT UP IN HP NUMBERS! Honestly what do you do with your car, track, autox, drag? It's more about what you can do with the hp than just being impressed by the number. What difference does it make if your car makes more/ less hp if all you do with it is hard park and car shows?

I have bot the the LMT Intake and Momentum Intake that sits behind the grill. My 03 G35 use to make 269whp with a JWT popcharger Ztube 5/16 MD spacers OBX TB spacer ART test pipes HKS rep catback Unorthodox Racing Lightweight pulleys Then I switched my set up to LMT Intake NWP 75mm TB (removed TB spacer) Kinetix Velocity Manifold (removed 5/16 spacer) with everything else the same and Dynod 260whp. I was disappointed. I drove to the tuner running the momentum Intake thinking the LMT would make more power because I can't run it without a tune. I swapped intakes in the parking lot. He had to put a tune just to get it onto the dyno then tuned it more. After being disappointed he let me switch out the momentum Intake back on. Which caused me to lose even more power. I think it was like 250. So obviously the LMT was making some power. I blame the Kinetix manifold. I've heard if your not running boost you will lose power. But it's so shiny and looks good lol
The Kinetix sacrifices peak numbers for high-rpm gains. The Velocity's runners seem to be slightly shorter than the non-revup runners, which would explain why. Did you retune the G for the Momentum intake, and still lost power compared to LMT? You're the first owner I've seen who's owned both the Momentum and LMT intakes.
It's fine as long as the air filter doesn't get submerged under water. Water dropplets don't cause hydrolock from my observation (CAI for 8 years on my Civic & 3 1/2 years on my G35).
Wow this answers a lot of questions I had. Great video, OP Drags is a straight up liar, I think he said he's not sponsored by LMT but then why would he put there name out there so much what a liar.
This all started because OP drags commented on my top 7 mods video and told me I need to go with LMT. He deleted the post that had all the good points made on why NOT to buy LMT. That made me create this video. I had no interest in making this video until Philip fed me so much misinformation, I had to create this video.
How do you think this intake fares against the Z1 / Momentum longtube intake? I have the Momentum longtube and the filter sits right in front of the radiator. Thanks and again another greatly detailed video!
I have the race intake. The Z1 crew told me I'd have minimal gains switching to 3.5" piping. However, I plan on installing a velocity stack for increased gains. The street version would most likely have similar power gains as the Injen, since it has the 2 7/8" piping through MAF section, whereas race version has 3" I plan on doing a before/after video, but my dynos would be months apart
I have the Momentum Perf intake which is identical to the Z1 intake. I have the stock plenum installed. My engine mods are: Momentum intake Z1 Test pipes Motordyne 5/16 spacer SRS exhaust
Z33 Garage......the legend himself. I've seen your install video on the Momentum long tube intake. It is really no different than my Injen long tube intake, both have filters out in front of the bumper so they are sucking colder air. I guess I did not say it in the video, OEM pipe size by MAF is 2.78 inches, both Injen and Momentum still taper back down the pipe to OEM size by the MAF at 2.78 inches. Admin tuning is 3.5 inches all the way, even by the MAF. Paired with NWP 75mm throttle body and all breather mods is when this intake will really work. You have to get the bottle necks out of the OEM system first, for this to really produce. We will soon find out on the dyno.
Hey Mototdyne G35...great job looking out. Folks always looking for the truth when it comes to our own cars. Keep Snoop n around, when stuff arises...04 DE out! Thank you very much, Sir.
My 03 G's oem iac never reads below 10 degrees ambient. Always 10 degrees higher and in the summer traffic will hit 145 degrees. Eventually I'll get something like mentioned in the vid
I’m stuck on which one maybe I’ll get admin. At the end cams will be last mode but I have motordyne exhaust and art pipes. Stillens highflow intake filter (stock intake tube) and motordyne spacer. I’m making 270whp. I just need bigger throttle body, headers and bigger intake. After that dyno tune. Once it’s complete I’ll probably purchase the LMT intake and see how it compares with the admin intake with cams. Probably won’t see much but fuck it
In any case I look forward to using Admintuning for my next mod, I'm running a fully built VQ35DE putting down 320hp but have yet to change my intake /TB.
@@clever1der 12:1 cr forged pistons, briancrower camshafts 272 deg 11.66mm lift, sportsman lightweight rods, balanced crank, uprated oil pump, revs increased to 7500, plenum spacer, PPE longtube headers 14lb flywheel and a 6 puck clutch. Basically a forged high comp motor, I hope to upload a video some day so the Z community can appreciate vq noise and flames, she spits fire well lol
@@clever1der yeah it's safe but you're better off with 11:1 or even 11.5:1 it made 320hp but shes severely knock limited, if I could run e85 like you boys in the USA it would probably put down a good chunk more, and that's with stock Airbox etc 😊 any questions I'm happy to answer, I found info on rebuild territory very limited for the high comp N/A enthusiasts
Is there a reason for the admin intake (3.5") being bigger than the throttle body (nwp 3")? Z1 has a straight though 3" intake which would be the same size as the nwp throttle body, it's also substantially cheaper. Also mentioned on here, but no one really reached a verdict.
You need to compensate for the cross sectional area lost by the MAF extending into the intake. Essentially you added a small rectangular shape that blocks area so you increase the diameter to compensate.
Just wondering if you've got this intake yet? I'm wondering how it looks installed. Admin's been impacted by the weather lately, but seems to be scraping by.
jellofuel .....It is still 100 degree days in Phoenix. It does not cool down until October. November or December is when I plan on going to the dyno. I am curious too on how it will look and perform.
No, that's a decent setup, though I'd have chosen the Mishimoto box over the Stillen. Your setup also doesn't require a tune to run. (thought it would help)
Thank you, I've been saying the same thing... OP Drags will tell you go look at the charts go look at the charts the proof is there...but its not lol And what makes its wierd is that why the hell would Pat not tell him there was a knock reading until later? And I didn't even know about Pat telling another person the same things. Just fishy.
I also know somebody that has the LMT intake and they are also not "completely" tuned yet. It took me and Saul (he's actually local for me but his dyno tunes are way overbooked) 4 days to finish my tuning through email. Another thing I noticed is that OPDrags says oh it's because I'm on a old tune...well why hasn't he been pushing for a updated tune? You simply log the data, send the data, and flash the new file lol it's not a 2 year process... I support OP Drags and I hope he really does get better gains but I think he needs to drop LMT altogether
I talked to him when he first got the LMT intake on his channel, I was curious. I was hoping it did work, but the evidence was just not there. Philip loves his G no doubt, but he is in denial due to the blindness of love. No hard feelings toward OP drags, just trying find out the truth.
Motordyne G35 you said @opdrags was sponsored by me... but then you said he should get his money back... Notice... the results we've had show 20 to 30whp and tq over the entire powerband of almost every single INDEPENDENTLY tuned car. The situation with Philip is he doesn't take his car with him to school. Doesn't send logs for months... it's not a big deal... he just needed to solve a plenum leak that I will not tune around... note his videos showing him chasing this issue. I'm here to tune your car... not to fix it.
Can you provide a dyno graph, with an overlay, on a car that was tuned first, before your intake? That is the problem, that and the lack of dyno graphs to actually see results. I"m just looking for some proof.
Bro he didn't design that long tube intake he copied it from Z1 they have been making those long tub for years he pretty much copy them try to act like he was the first one to make these honestly I see people with these long tube intakes I wasn't impressed it doesn't come close to comparing to the Z1
i have the admin short air intake, mrev2, 5/16th spacer, invida gemini exhaust and invidia non resonated test pipes. plus upgraded clutch with an uprev tune at about 4800 ft altitude i made 260whp and 241wtq wasn't to impressed.
Motordyne G35 thank you so much!! I’ve had a problem when my car idles like shit and won’t go past 2.5k rpm when I put my injen cai. Hopefully this will fix it
Hoping to get some help from the boyz, at the moment on my G35 the fuel gauge seems to be off and when I say that I mean that my gas gauge will say I have 1/4 left but in reality I have an empty tank and when I fill up the tank it goes like a inch or two above the full line. Anybody have a idea of what I could do to fix this? Thanks in advance 😎
xXTheGaMiNgBeAsTXx ....behind the driver seat, under the seat in the back is the sending unit for the fuel gage. Replace it to fix it or just use your trip meter. Tracking mileage never lies.
thx, I cleaned both sending units, and didnt fix the problem so right now im just using my trip meter but the problem is that 1 of the sending units is just the sending unit itself while the other only comes with the fuel pump so if I want to replace both I will have to purchase a new fuel pump :( feelsbad
xXTheGaMiNgBeAsTXx .....I replaced my fuel pump, it did not fail. At the 10 year mark, I was not going to wait for it to fail so I replaced it. I cleaned the sending unit. My fuel gage still doesn't work and I do not care to buy a new sending unit. Trip meter works fine. Plus I always keep it above half a tank because the fuel is used to cool the pump. Running your tank on empty all the time will cause the fuel pump to prematurely fail.
but how will I know if its above half a tank? atm my trip meter is at 100 because I refilled it last week but ik mpg always depends on driving conditions etc. lol thx for the replies dude
Good video! Every time I've discussed the LMT intake, I've been told it gets the coldest air possible "if I buy the complete kit." I will not put hood spacers on my 350z, plain, and simple. I'm also completely unconvinced their heat shield does anything - if the pop-charger sucks in hot air, there's no way the LMT shield is effective. I was looking into getting a 3.5" intake, when I found an interesting dyno on Z1's website. Link below. The same velocity stack can be installed on any 3" intake. I'm running the Z1 m-spec race intake, which carries the 3" piping through the maf sensor, so my goal here is to install a velocity stack, and duplicate these gains to some degree. I'm not sponsored by Z1. I'm hoping for some solid gains up top where my DE drops off. www.z1motorsports.com/air-intakes/z1-motorsports/z1-high-flow-intake-upgrade-kit-for-z1-or-stillen-gen-intakes-p-9199.html
Oh yes, it should make slightly more. I mentioned a 3.5" intake to Michael Upton (makes HR intakes), and when I visited Z1, Russ mentioned he'd seen that post - he then stated I'd make 1-2whp which would be expensive, given I'd need a retune from my current 3". I was actually helping an HR owner out on Facebook when I noticed the upgraded filters with velocity stacks. As far as Z1 knows, no one's used the Momentum intake in combination with the velocity stack/upgraded filter, but if we can duplicate the gains they show on the HR, then that would be epic. That said, I would think a 3" with velocity stack would outperform a 3.5" intake that doesn't have one, but it's pure speculation.
Motordyne G35 car only has exhaust and plenum spacer and z1 ecu flash now. Cars getting a ton of parts thrown at soon. Gina be a very legit setup for a all motor vq
Collin Senovich ...Motordyne ART pipes will get rid of the rasp and drone of test pipes, plus 10 more whp and 27wtq at 2,800 rpm than test pipes. Right on.....well make sure you get a base line pull first with all mods tuned. Then exchange air intakes, retune, then dyno. This is how to get an overlay to show on the dyno and to get gain numbers for the LMT intake. You need a baseline pull to measure gains. Which on my channel, I have for all my mods.
Evan Mavros.... You have to completely submerge the filter in water to hydro lock the motor. I had this intake back 10 years ago when I lived in Ohio which rains a lot more than NY. I never had an issue. So big puddles, you can turn around or swerve to miss them. Other than driving through lakes of water, you will be fine.
Got one more quick question for u bro . Yesterday I changed the cabin air filter on my 2007 G35. The airflow has an arrow pointing down is that the correct way ? The fan is below the filter so it don’t make no sense to me ...
Evan Mavro.....With so much controversy about air intakes, I sway away from talking about it. My Injen long tube intake was my first mod over 10 years ago. I am happy with my dyno gains at 37whp/45wtq. Is the intake worth it over the stock rev-up box with the velocity stack. No, not really but I had already purchased it. 5HP is all I giving to this intake over the stock box. My gains came from my other mods, not my intake.
Honestly I can't remember but I know I go over the direction of air flow for the in-cabin filter in my install video.......ruclips.net/video/hCGPpruRY3g/видео.html
I have a 370 and it's a good thing that most people agree that a Stillen Gen 3 or z1 CAI is the way to go! On another note, i've never liked that Saul Nismo Knights guy, people say he's "funny" or a "savage" but personally from what i've seen he's a dick to a lot of people just because he can dyno. I heard he is the cheapest guy to dyno but I guess you get what you pay for...
btw not saying he's a bad guy but I personally wouldn't want him to dyno my car, I would much rather go to Specialty Z if given the choice and only based on the way they interact with customers. Customer interaction goes a long way!
nukexD .....my tuner is phoenix, I will not be using Saul because he is in California. I've had my car tuned in Dallas and Phoenix, both tuners did an excellent job. Having a dyno is a must. Administration Intakes are proven to make more power than stillen and Z1.
Exactly! Who says that, unless you are not a fan of measuring gains. If he had some dyno proof, old Limp Mode Tuning would be all about dynos. Pat is banking off peoples lack of knowledge. That is also why I made a video on how to read dyno sheets, hopefully, the video will help Philip at OP Drags. He doesn't understand what an overlay is and just talks about looking at the smooth lines, which really is not important as the overlay.
James Horrid I prefer 1/4 mile and 1/8th mile runs as they're easier to correlate a gain vs other cars. I have a significant amount of people using my intake for track use with success.
Motordyne G35 it's interesting that you have never discussed anything with me but seem to know who I am. You could've reached out and asked for info... 1. We don't send customers to specific tuners for results over and over like administration does. 2. The LMT intake was built off my race car which ran some of the fastest na and nitrous times on a stock block vq ever... then there was the dyno results I had... there is no banking on a lack of knowledge. I attempt to contact everyone who purchased one and I work with them hands on to ensure the best setup of their vehcile... Your review is extremely biased based off a clear issue with me for whatever reason... It's hard for me to see someone who has a stock car giving advice about how to make the most power on this platform without doing any of his own legwork... leaving out the parts that were used by the people who have run the fastest passes... Loose the disrespectful attitude towards me and I'd be willing to help you achieve the goals you want with this platform. I've been there done that and helped a lot of people do so... in fact... moncef used to champion my intake before he saw the money train snd started bashing me and mine for his own gain... I posted info to show Philips car making 24 to 26 deg of timing and 12.0 afr... why? His hood was hitting his intake and I didn't want to risk it being detonation... this is common on my intake when not installed correctly. So I asked him to adjust and send me an update set of logs... he didnt... I told him the car isn't gong to make power... I also don't chase after dyno results... meaning I'll post the bad ones, the good ones,or whatever. It's about giving the entire picture... I shouldn't be bashed for giving REAL information...
Pat.....I'm entitled to my opinion, it's called the 1st amendment. Can you provide a dyno graph, with an overlay, on a car that was tuned first, before your intake? That is the problem, that and the lack of dyno graphs to actually see results. I"m just looking for some proof. Not made up stories from your friends at the track
Pat......I do this as a hobby, but I'm in sales. In sales, if it takes you longer than 30 secs to quantify the product or show value, it is bullshit. Given you can NOT provide dyno sheets and are unwilling to invest in a dyno sheet, to prove your product works, this is a proper review. If it worked, you would have dyno sheets everywhere. Since it does NOT, you tell people you do not believe in dynos, but the ENTIRE WORLD DOES.
I would say NO. I did not feel any difference. On my data logs, it did slow down the heat soak, but after 3 minutes it gets so high it doesn't even matter. This video is what convinced me to try it out. ruclips.net/video/XjFzTJOuDQE/видео.html
When I found out about admin tuning, I already had ordered my Stillen gen 3. But as you said, admin tuning requires a tune. I'm not finished modding yet, so that would have been a waste of time AND money for me. Again I have the 37, but it's still the same. Maybe down the line, I might change over to admin. But I'm happy now. And with my Motordyne in a few weeks, I'll be closer to where I want to be..
Nonameisthename 1 totally feel you on that I have yet to get to the point where I want to tune my G37s. I just went with the mishimoto silicone intake tubes and k&n drop ins for now
It has been over 1 year, since I've been to the dyno. New product release from Admin Tuning, I got the itch. Only a $150 to do a re-tune, plus the price of the part. If I get, 16whp on top of my tune, I will be very very happy. If you are not finishing modding, this should be the very last mod you do to ensure you already have all of the other bottle necks addressed first, to make the most power from this intake. So I hear you on waiting.
I've owned my G35 for 12 years. I paid it off in the first 5 years. I have not had a car payment in 7 years, so compared to how much money people pay buying a new car every 3 years; I"m actually ahead. Why are you not boosted? If you spend 8k boosting the car you better have 10k laying around for repairs is why. Plus NA is way more reliable and I do what I want to do, not what others want to do. When this motor blows up, is when I plan on rebuilding it made for boost, so it will last. On the internet turbo cars are cool. Behind the scenes, they are always broke down.
Motordyne G35 I'm gonna have to disagree somewhat, if the car is boosted correctly and tuned correctly then sure it'll be less reliable but if its not pushing crazy numbers and hitting boost everywhere all the time then I see no issue with it being at least somewhat reliable. In saying that it does cost a lot to boost in the first place. It just seems redundant throwing money at the de when a stock vhr will dyno very similar numbers to a FBO de. And then you have more wiggle room for performance.
I do not think you read what I wrote. I purchased my car new before your 370z was born. What you are telling me is I need to sell my car and buy your car. I was putting mods on my car before your 370z was born. It seems redundant for you to throw money at your 370z, when the GTR is a much better platform for making power. I just purchased a new camera and started documenting my build which was done many years ago. Yes, I'm dropping more money on this new intake because I can. I will be boosting 1 day, but not today because this motor I floor it every day to make Motordyne Shockwaves )))) at 165,000 miles and I want to see how far an NA motor will make it. Again, I do exactly what I want to do.
Hey it's been a few years. have u made the new video? if so can u link it in description or pin to comments thanks. BTW I love this channel thanks for your hard work.
Honestly, you are better off with the OEM rev-up intake with the velocity stack. Spend your money on other mods for the VQ, the air intake is not worth it.
No, because of it's design. The MAF is located in a bad spot, it is towards the front, down below right before where the pipe curves. Because of this the 3.5 Furrookie did worse than OEM box.
Bhahah, thanks for the laugh.....I concur. I've always liked that GTR photo for some reason and I decided to integrate it into my intro. It does make no sense at all, other than I love the G and GTR. I do have my medical card and it is always hazy during editing, maybe that came into play.

Using the stock MAF is your problem, why you would buy a bigger intake and not increase diameter of the MAF is beyond me.
i use stock airbox with aem dryflow/z-tube/motordyne spacer for intake for my G

Still wondering what your Dyno numbers were when you converted to the admin intake? I'm on the fence for the ingen or admin intake.
The street version would most likely have similar power gains as the Injen, since it has the 2 7/8" piping through MAF section, whereas race version has 3"
I plan on doing a before/after video, but my dynos would be months apart
jellofuel niice! I have yet to tune my Z so I am saving for that and then see what gains I got.
You have the street intake? Z1 did post a dyno on their IG showing gains over the stock air box. That z had the Kinetix Velocity manifold installed.
I have the Momentum Perf intake which is identical to the Z1 intake.
I have the stock plenum installed.
My engine mods are:
Momentum intake
Z1 Test pipes
Motordyne 5/16 spacer
SRS exhaust
What mods you have so far?
@@clever1der 12:1 cr forged pistons, briancrower camshafts 272 deg 11.66mm lift, sportsman lightweight rods, balanced crank, uprated oil pump, revs increased to 7500, plenum spacer, PPE longtube headers 14lb flywheel and a 6 puck clutch. Basically a forged high comp motor, I hope to upload a video some day so the Z community can appreciate vq noise and flames, she spits fire well lol
@@clever1der oh and I forgot to mention z1 single exhaust from the headers back
3FiddyZee nice bro that. One helleva achievement bro man, is the 12:1 Cr safe on 93 ?
@@clever1der yeah it's safe but you're better off with 11:1 or even 11.5:1 it made 320hp but shes severely knock limited, if I could run e85 like you boys in the USA it would probably put down a good chunk more, and that's with stock Airbox etc 😊 any questions I'm happy to answer, I found info on rebuild territory very limited for the high comp N/A enthusiasts
Less restrictive airflow > cold air
Also there is still no listing for a cold air intake. Like the one you are describing. I checked Administration tuning web page
Why does it sound like this video is on fire
Is there a reason for the admin intake (3.5") being bigger than the throttle body (nwp 3")? Z1 has a straight though 3" intake which would be the same size as the nwp throttle body, it's also substantially cheaper. Also mentioned on here, but no one really reached a verdict.
You need to compensate for the cross sectional area lost by the MAF extending into the intake. Essentially you added a small rectangular shape that blocks area so you increase the diameter to compensate.
Hey Bro have u ever thought about getting a short shifter? I've been thinking of getting one on my G but was wondering ur thoughts.
Not worth it. OEM is fine.
Hey man what do you think about me going with the long tube injen cold air intake sold on ebay. I also have a 2004 g35 coupe
ruclips.net/video/fNBcr5j7ZJM/видео.html Check out this video. My setup in this video still includes my injen long tube cold air intake.
Did u miss z1s results?
Just wondering if you've got this intake yet? I'm wondering how it looks installed. Admin's been impacted by the weather lately, but seems to be scraping by.
jellofuel .....It is still 100 degree days in Phoenix. It does not cool down until October. November or December is when I plan on going to the dyno.
I am curious too on how it will look and perform.
Sweet deal. Do you know where the filter would be? Is it like the Injen, or up high like the Momentum?
You vs Opdrags?
yes yes and yes
Op is pretty much GONE for 5 months, he is doing some kind of Internship for 5 months without his car
This☝🏻
What about the ztube and stillen air intake? Did I waste my money buying it?😞
No, that's a decent setup, though I'd have chosen the Mishimoto box over the Stillen. Your setup also doesn't require a tune to run. (thought it would help)
Thank you, I've been saying the same thing...
OP Drags will tell you go look at the charts go look at the charts the proof is there...but its not lol
And what makes its wierd is that why the hell would Pat not tell him there was a knock reading until later?
LeeintheG it's actually visible in his logging video. I told him immediately.
260whp at that high of elevation is higher than the average bolt on + tune DE even at sea level if you are talking Dynojet numbers.
AdminTuning I believe it was on a dyno jet it's was in Orem Utah at turbo labs. not turbo labs America BTW.
Yep. Very good for the elevation.
well im happy still the car is night and day different from before. No tune at all. Will you be able to buy extensions for your new set up? to pair?
Shoot me an email, they are available for purchase.
When you put the MAF sensor back in, is the little hole on the actual sensor itself supposed to be facing the windshield or the front bumper?
In my other video, how to clean the MAF sensor I show you the correct direction right here......ruclips.net/video/BGb-6THahXM/видео.htmlm8s
Motordyne G35 thank you so much!! I’ve had a problem when my car idles like shit and won’t go past 2.5k rpm when I put my injen cai. Hopefully this will fix it
Did you try the idle relearn procedure? My video here.....ruclips.net/video/TZJfWQLGUZI/видео.html
Motordyne G35 IT WORKED!! Thank you soooo much!!!
i hope wen i get my tune it will be in the 260 270 range
I know you got your Motordyne ART pipes delivered. Did the Motordyne Shockwave finally arrive?
Motordyne G35 nope still waiting
am i the one that told you about ADMIN TUNING
That is unreal you are still waiting for the Shockwave, I'm sorry to hear that. Yes, I remember, we did talk about ADMIN TUNING.
Motordyne G35 just pick it up to day
Did they give a release date for the new intake?
No, not yet. The intake is still in beta testing.
So if I put admin tuning, should I get a 75mm big bore ?
Another question.
If I get a admintuning intake, will my car not start or somthing
keanu Romero exactly his intake need to be tuned
Minimal gains, not worth it in my opinion
The NWP TB does not add a ton of 'peak' power but it gives you a broader peak area, so your powerband is a little more extended.
I don't run the spacers on my kit and it's fine. Also the heat shield makes a difference. I can supply intake temperature graphs if you like
What intake is worth it then ? For rev up .
I'll gladly give you my dyno numbers when my cars done. Waiting on my cams and then I'll show you wat the LMT will make with a legit setup..
Just looking for some proof. Sounds good. What mods have you done currently before cams? Is your car already tuned?
Motordyne G35 car only has exhaust and plenum spacer and z1 ecu flash now. Cars getting a ton of parts thrown at soon. Gina be a very legit setup for a all motor vq
Collin Senovich .....what exhaust? Do you have OEM CATs? What year is your Z?
Motordyne G35 right now it's invidia test pipes and hks rep. And it's an 03
Collin Senovich ...Motordyne ART pipes will get rid of the rasp and drone of test pipes, plus 10 more whp and 27wtq at 2,800 rpm than test pipes.
Right on.....well make sure you get a base line pull first with all mods tuned. Then exchange air intakes, retune, then dyno. This is how to get an overlay to show on the dyno and to get gain numbers for the LMT intake.
You need a baseline pull to measure gains. Which on my channel, I have for all my mods.
admin tuning or injen intake? I have been going back and forth for days now lol
Admin makes more power.
Hey would a long tube be a problem for a daily driver ? I’m in nyc so I have rain snow salt on road thru out the year
Evan Mavros....
Thanks for the quick reply man ! By the way would u have a link to ur intake setup? Tried looking for it earlier but couldn’t
Limp mode tuning- " Ive never been a fan of using dynos" what kind of bs is that.
That gold heat wrap worth it ?
I just went with the mishimoto silicone intake tubes and k&n drop ins for now
Mumble
It's ALL about taking YOUR time bro! You'll get there..
Why dump all this money for a N/A DE when you could boost it and make gains that no N/A DE G/Z could?
Anyone knows someone who would tune a 2004 g35 sedan?? 📍 central Arizona
Motordyne G35 well is it okay to use the oem box with a silicone or smooth intake tube?
how do you get those gauges in the rom editor?
Here is a video I made on how to use Cipher..........ruclips.net/video/Ni__PQLNVtU/видео.html
hey i downloaded the rom editor on uprev's website but it didnt include cipher..i googled it but didnt get anything either
3.5 furrookie intake be same ?
No, because of it's design. The MAF is located in a bad spot, it is towards the front, down below right before where the pipe curves. Because of this the 3.5 Furrookie did worse than OEM box.
Love your Vids man, but weirdest intro ever. Lmao
B-roll of you chucking deuces in the G, and then... GTR gauges. Lol don't get rid of it though
Bhahah, thanks for the laugh.....I concur. I've always liked that GTR photo for some reason and I decided to integrate it into my intro. It does make no sense at all, other than I love the G and GTR. I do have my medical card and it is always hazy during editing, maybe that came into play.
Motordyne G35 Hey, that sounds like a fine explanation to me. 👍
just buy a corvette QQ
