Any recommendation for optimising GBC emulator and speed up the system startup?

I hear you man. I paid much more than I should have for a pi. They’re supposed to be like $15-20.

so i have a pi 2 w , i want to get this case and some good batteries. it would cost me about another 100 total for case and batteries. think its worth it or to get say the MIYOO-mini ? i really only want play GBA and SNES

The Miyoo mini is definitely more plug and play. Plus I believe it has an OCA laminated screen so no need to worry about dust getting under the screen. If you don’t mind tinkering and want the authentic look of a Game Boy, you might like the GPi case. If you just want to turn the system on and play games, you’re better off with a Miyoo mini. Hope this helps.

So I ended up ordering the case a little bit ago. Is there a way to have a small heat sink between the zero 2 and the case board. I want to overclock to 1.2 or 1.3ghz if I can.

@@AlteredCarbons the very very small copper heat sinks will fit but otherwise no. You also want to be careful not to put a heat sink that’s not too big in the cartridge because you might damage the gpio pins then you won’t have a screen.
