What a heart-warming video talking about Denmark and Danish people. I hope to visit there one day. You say that the Danes care for each other, and hearing that makes me happy ❤️ I wish we had a more compassionate society like Denmark here in the US.

A special feature of Danish culture is that we know what is right and what is wrong and if somebody says something not 100 % correct, you will be notified. And this applies to the comments to this video as well - Danes do lock their door... Jezzz, how much does it matter whether it's 100 % correct or 90 % correct. Anyway, thanks for your very kind words about the Danes! Hope the culture chock of meeting Danes was not a major issue for you - and like many others here, I am impressed by your pronounciation!

Thank you for the kind words of yours. Its very flattering to hear such a story, you seem observant of your surroundings, im glad that you decided to share your observations with your fellow Americans, a dane would never "Brag" or tell the story in a nice way since we have this " Jante lov " ( you should google it ). basicly it means that if you are a big CEO of a multi billion company, or if you are a homeless unemployeed guy. you are equal, and its seen as a negative thing to brag about your own wellbeing :-)

Hi im danish... To answer your questions. We dont have school shootings... And our gun laws is very stricht... Miles from yours.. We have free health care usually anywhere in the world.. So getting sick for me in lets say the states, getting surgery and such is free as well.. We have high taxes but our salerys are pretty high to.. Take for example mcdonalds here in denmark.. Which have low salerys they are usually like a minium off 20 dollars an hour wich is pretty low.. We have a high standard off living yes.. A usual work week is 37 hours

Finally she texted back and that she forgot to tell me that she has music class. So I replied and told her it’s fine it’s just that I was worried about her. And so she said, “ Ma, it’s Denmark” 😊

Generally people are welcome, but we don't really like the missionary thing - Danes might be polite when being aproached by missionaries, as that is good custom to generally be polite when aproached - but internally most are quite irritated, and if your goal are to pull people closer to christ - missionary practices has the opposite effect on most.

Thanks a lot for your positive words, and your attitude.
I almost get embarrassed, because it's a little to the rose-red side.
We do have problems in Denmark. E.g the right wing government we currently have.
Supported by a ultra right wing, racist party.
    But, I guess that's a minor problem.
Another problem is that dental care is not free!
So poor people do have worse teeth.
And, by the way, Danish pastry really is best in the world! 😊
