    OK so the intro music for introducing Tahu, the humming sound effect sounds ethereal and ancient it's really cool. The whole atmosphere of Gen 1 bionicle being all spiritual and yet advanced with technology being in harmony with nature is what drew me into this as a kid. And the mask looks are awesome, very totem like

    The first year of bioinicle was something so special. I feel like media, especially toys, don't get as interactive as this. I mean a whole CD-rom where you collect the masks and get a little video. MNOG, the flash animations, mcdonalds toys, Lego really out did themselves (for obvious reasons this was kind of their hail mary)

      It was generally the tail-end of this period of fascination with multimedia which began in the early 90s and which gave us some bizarre and unique things like Xplora1: Peter Gabriel's Secret World.

    Thanks for posting this with the voice stating their names! When I was a kid we always called Lewa the way it's said here but I forgot why. Since I got older, I kept hearing people say it Loo-wa- and it always seemed so off to me. Now I know why I said it the way I did.

      The strange thing is, I'm actually not sure where this CD came from. It's a full-size disc rather than miniCD and up until recently this version seemed to be completely forgotten by the internet. Now it's listed on the BioMedia Project, but there isn't any info beyond "Distributed through promotions outside North America". I think it either was given out by official LEGO stores, or it was included with an issue of the Donald Duck magazine.

      Oj tak. Albo te reklamy co szły na kanałach z bajkami. Co prawda udało mi się uzbierać wszystkich toa mata ale już turaga, bohrok czy rakshi miałem tylko po kilka egzemplarzy jak w pierwszym brakowało mi Nuju I Vakamy, zaś w drugim miałem tylko trójkę a ostatnim tylko dwa ponieważ ceny tych zestawów zaczęły rosnąć tak że przekraczało to możliwości finansowe rodzinki. W sumie to myślałem o uzupełnieniu kolekcji chodź by zakupem tych zestawów których nie miałem a które mi się podobały ale nie wiem czy dostałbym te na których mi zależy, nie mówię o stanie nie złożonym, sklepowym, ale przynajmniej z instrukcją i w jakimś stopniu kompletnym. Nie wiem, może się zdecyduję na ten ruch, zaczynając od Roodaki bo jest najciekawszą z postaci.

    • @adenowirus
      @adenowirus  5 лет назад +1

      Ja miałem bodajże czterech Toa Mata, jednego Turaga, dwóch Toa Nuva i potem jeszcze jednego Visoraka i dwóch Rahaga. Prawdę mówiąc, znacznie bardziej żałuję, że nie zebrałem wszystkich zestawów z wcześniejszej serii Slizer.

    • @Luftek46
      @Luftek46 5 лет назад

      @@adenowirus Slizery to było coś co chciałem mieć. Tak mi się tak seria podobała, z uwagi na wygląd samych postaci, że o niczym innym nie mogłem myśleć. Podobnie Z roboridersam. Koniec końców nie udało mi się żadnego zdobyć. Co prawda była okazja kupić jednego, bo syn sąsiada chciał mi sprzedać za 10 złotych któregoś co tam posiadał ale rodzice nie wiedzieć czemu nie dali mi pieniędzy na ten zakup.

    • @adenowirus
      @adenowirus  5 лет назад

      Slizery były fajne, bo każdy miał zupełnie inną konstrukcję. Z oryginalnych ośmiu brakowało mi tylko trzech (lawy, lodu i miasta), a z te cztery nowsze miałem wszystkie za wyjątkiem Iskry Gniewu (czy jak tam on się nazywał). Niedawno je znalazłem i odbudowałem. Z Robo Riders miałem pył i onyxa (te z takimi samymi głowami jak Slizery) i wszystkie cztery z tych miniaturowych zestawów z pozostałych "żywiołów". Na puszkach dużych zestawów były kody pojawiające się po schłodzeniu.

    • @adenowirus
      @adenowirus  3 года назад +5

      It's not a game. Think of it as an interactive introduction to the world of Bionicle, or an interactive commercial for the sets. It is very much a product of its times, a tail end the multimedia craze when many programs had little purpose beyond being something you can mess around with for an hour or two. It any case it was given away for free, either with a set or on its own, so it's not like people were wasting money on it.
