Journey to Ladakh with Andrew Harvey - July 2, 2023 Talk

In June 2023, we joined author and spiritual teacher Andrew Harvey on this pilgrimage filled with sacred ceremonies, spiritual teachings, and transformational sites in Ladakh.
Ladakh is a place of unique grandeur and spiritual power and has preserved its ancient relationship with Tibetan Buddhism. This journey was an ideal opportunity to visit some of India's lesser-known sacred places, nestled in the breathtaking Himalayas, with spiritual teacher, Andrew Harvey. We explored how Buddhism is embracing Love in Action, inspiring us all to be in service of others in the world. Highlights included a two-day Way of the Bodhisattva retreat given by Andrew Harvey; the colourful Hemis Festival in the courtyard of the most impressive and largest Buddhist Monastery in Ladakh; a visit to the 14th Dalai Lama's summer residence; time with a local family in Tia; Chod session with a Tibetan Yogi, and meditation by a sacred lake.
