That 67 beetle is a beauty. I had one in college, and loved it. Sure would be fun to drive one again. My little sister bought a new turbo charged super beetle about 20 years ago, and I was blown away by it's performance, but I still liked my 67 beetle more than that one. Never forget it.
That is an awesome example of a 67 (in Lotus white I might add..have one myself). Being all original, it checks off all the boxes for "one year only". All the owners have taken such good care of her.
What a beautiful old girl! Some might say the holy grail of the beetles. My favorite is a 1970 only because that is my birth year. I can honestly say that this is the closest that I have seen to an all original beetle of any year. Thank you for sharing Sir!
I am second owner of an original 1967 Bug exactly like yours, Lotus White w/black interior, only mine has a Sapphire VI AM-FM mono radio, trip speedo, cigarette lighter, day/night inside flip mirror and pop-out quarter windows locking glove box and deck lid. Yours and mine are actually 1967 1/2 because of the position of the front seat-back release knob up on the seat-back. Someone may have upgraded your front seats if your 67s production date was in fact January of 67. Which might also explain why the hood has a 66, wide chrome strip. And, you are right, very nice example.
Listen to the sound when you close the engine lid or the door, it's so solid sounding! My 2015 Porsche 911 doesn't even come close since they went into mass production. I look forward to owning one of these in the future.
My mother has the same, and same colour 282 lotosweiss , in mint condition. Bought from her father (my granpa). Only the back lights need replacement, the colour faded from sunlight. Great cars. Also first car in antarctica, from the australian expedition. (-50°C)
I had one just like this back in 1980-81. I bought it just after selling a 1967 Pontiac GTO. Because it was so (comparatively) slow compared to the 'Goat', I ended up selling it in Charlotte, NC after having driven it down there from my native New Jersey for school at UNCC. I had bought it for $750. in Oct. 1980 and sold it for $950. in November, 1981. Good little car... For the short time I owned it, I have to admit that it made it into my heart. I learned that it was a very unique model being able to be distinguished from others very easily because of the one year only rear back up lamp placement, and advent of the new style headlamps new for 1967. Take care of that 'Bug'!!
My first vw was a 67 bug back in 79, loved it! I found a 69 Ghia that was heading to the scrap yard to be crushed. My son and I are working on it together 👍✌️ Our goal is to get it running and on the road and enjoy driving!👍✌️
In 1975, my girlfriend had this exact car. Bought it used for 900 bucks. I was driving a '64. Gas was 49 cents/gal. 5 bucks to fill up and it would last 2 weeks. Currently, I have a '64 sunroof. 28 bucks to fill up. Lose the roof rack. Nobody had one in the day. Surfboard racks yes!
Totally beautiful car. I had a friend who drove an early 60's Beatle back in the 80's and I'd love to have one today and wouldn't care if it was a little beat. Do Love the Beatle.

I am in Indonesia, since year 1995, VW Beetle was my dream car. And still is. Your vlog shows a good fresh, a very well maintenance original VW Beetle.
Sweet! That's my car. But I took out my 67 front seats and put in 68 highbacks. I was afraid of getting rear ended. I wish I had kept them. I was a stupid kid.
My first car was a 69 Peru geeen white interior. My dad bought it new on my 10th birthday and gave it to me on my 16 th birthday, would love to find it or a twin to it .
I noticed a little white plastic plug, between the dash and the door. Is that where the squirted rustproofing into the hollow places, before closing the drilled hole, with the plastic plug? That's another reason why it's in such good condition!
I have the exact car with the same trim and close to the same miles. I did notice my seats are different than yours. My release levers for the seat back are located near the floor at the base of the seat and yours are half way up the seat back like in the later years. I wonder if that was something VW changed mid 1967.

Thx for the video!
My 67 a daily driver since “85”
Beautiful. I drove my 1967 as a near daily driver for exactly 20 years. Lot of unique parts or some only shared with the 66. Beautiful car.

Your definately a lucky guy...that '67 is in a fabulous condition which is very rare today. This one year only beetle is very sort after.

Beatle? Ringo or Paul?
Nice. 1967 my favorite year
Looks amazing! I am thinking about buying one. It would not be as old as this one, but I still want one to drive around in college.
Hell yeah man, I am looking into one myself for highschool
@@finkabrown4499 I hope you find one you like soon 🤝
That looks mint.
I learned to drive on my father's 1979 1300 VW Beetle. He'd hit me right knee if I stall. Great times. 😁
I Like it very much ..drove the same for 12 yrs
1967 Beetle is a beauty!
Beautiful car! I have a '68 Convertible with about 135k on it. It's pretty nice but nothing like yours. "67 was the ultimate year for the Bug, IMHO.
This car is virtually identical to my ‘67 bug…I miss driving her!
What a gem!❤
Looks almost brand new! Amazing
What a beautiful example of a 1967 VW Beetle..

Is L282 the lot number for the otus White. Recently purchased a 67 looks exactly like yours. I want touch up paint
Where has it been hiding
I had a ‘67 identical to this except mine had a radio but no roof rack.

Yes, I think the seat back release levers changed during the 1967 production run. My beetle was assembled in January of 1967.
nice nice nice
Just bought a ‘64 in baby blue. It’s being shipped to a shop in Austin that’s going to do an electric conversion.

I had a ‘67 beetle and it had pop out rear side windows. Don’t see those on this one. Was it an option?
The pop-out windows were an option.
COMO TE TIEMBLA LA MANO
Fenders are changed
Pre 8/67!
Head lights not 67
It is pre 8/67, a '66 model. So u r right AND wrong.
The obvious question, is it for sale, and if so, price?
I sold this beetle last year. It was an exceptionally original car.
I had one just like it in Germany in 1975-76. Had a few other bugs and a bus later. They used to make great cars.
I got a 66 beetle
Wow,,my bisy car vw,,my bist,var
What color is??
Lotus White - L282
This splash boarders no are originlas.
Is it for sale?
I sold it last year. I’m finding out that my VW was worth a lot more than I sold it for.
Ok. Thank you. My I ask what you sold it for?
