Hey man, thanks for watching. I think prices vary … depending on box. Actually, I have had a good experience with montefortuna. I think they are good for somethings; just beware they were selling fake cohiba / this is not my opinion;they admitted to this & apologized etc. there is a Reddit post about this.
i actually have a few boxes just reaching that age actually ... and an unopened brevas, box date will be a surprise on that one perhaps will use that box for review. thanks for watching!😚💨
Quintero overall is very good and perfect for everyday Cuban cigars. Quintero Y Hermano would be recommendation next it is much bigger ring size which is 50 and got a good texture
@@HabanosChris Quintero as mentioned is like good for buck kinda Cuban and I mean with current price rate for other name brands which are raising up day by day. I think cheap brands are pretty decent to go for until the crazy prices hikes gets little better
Hi Mike, glad you enjoyed the review and thanks again for watching. Yeah, that “butter cream” was really interesting. Btw feel free to reach me @ habanoschris@gmail if you have a hard time finding these right now- I’d sincerely be happy to share one.
@@HabanosChris Sorry for the late responds and thanks for the offer, it's much appreciated. My friend is returning from Havana in a week with an assortment of cigars. Can't wait to hear what he has to say. Thanks again. Mike
Quinteros are solid for the money and can be better than some long filler stuff. I have always like the Panetelas the best and you get more long leaf because of the binder and wrapper on the thinner ring gauge. I call them Poor Man's Partagas and usually have darker wrappers that are the rosado color of Partagas. Lighter in strength than Partagas but there are some similarities and for $3-ish a cigar you can't go wrong with a Cuban cigar at that price
@@MrPsiman I have finally got a perfect draw recent after procrastinating on it for quite some time. Haven’t had to use it yet actually lol but I’m sure I will soon.
@@HabanosChris I rarely have to use mine except on the Quinteros Panetelas. Habanos construction has been great on everything else. I get over an hour of smoking time from them and solid ash
No I haven’t, I like the format/ring gauge on those. I’ll try one when I get the chance. Relatively similar sized vitolas I have are the Hoyo petite Corona, Upmann half Corona and Vegueros mananitas. The mananitas have been great after age. The Upmann were delicious when first opened but then lost flavor & tasted sick so I am waiting to try them again this summer-they are from box January 2019. The Hoyo (Nov 2019) has hints of flavor but were kinda unremarkable & so I’ll try them again this summer as well.
congrats Nicholas! What box did you go with? I think that may depend on where they are sourcing from & where you live - but you may of noticed when you placed your order that their website says they are located in Switzerland.
Yes some boxes arrive like that. To me it’s no problem - if you are savvy enough you can find the barcode numbers hidden within the Warranty seal with the help of a magnification glass.
This is another solid review Habanos Chris. These are my go to Cubans.
Thanks for this review. I figured that even at the low price, you’re still getting a real Cuban cigar. I’m going to try to find a box of these
Hey Brian - thanks for watching. Glad I could help. I agree with your logic and actually was thinking of getting another box of Quintero myself.
A slept on stick Chris, great choice, let me know how they are!
Yes agreed thanks Matt. I will do.
like your videos, but have noticed Ihavanna is about $100 per box higher then Montefortuna. Have you ever ordered from Montefortuna?

@@BuzzCooks 🙏 thanks man, means a lot !! Hoping to put a new one out soon. Appreciate if you’ve subscribed- working towards 1k.
@@BuzzCooks p.s. yes, unfortunately fakes are rampant & impact is vast. I think montefortuna is g2g for certain uses.

Hi Sandesh. Thanks for your input. I am not too savvy on Quinteros. I will get a box of the Hermano one day soon.
