About to hit Living Legend and didn't know any of these so i'm grateful. More content that follows this same line would be ideal to me, its the most useful and often the hardest to find imo.
I didnd't know about buffering normals. Too often I get punished for mashing light when i'm slightly plus. And that what frustrated me the most, I'm plus and then sudenly i'm eating a 2M, and to avoid this I was constantly looking for reflects and back dashes. This will make my game so much better. Thank you.
Hey LK I have some question about what to do about people mashing on the ground while you're in the air and how to be aware what is happening when you're in the air and you can't see what's happening on the ground
You ways have a double jump so if you recover in the air and they're button smashing on ground save your extra jump til you're almost on the ground and it will help you have time to react but it's always safe to block on your way down just be careful callin assist or dashing cause you're vulnerable for a short time during those
For the last point, you said to have clean inputs. I am working really hard to break the habit to mash, and it is very hard (especially in stressful situations). I noticed very recently that if I mash, it is because "I don't know the exact time when to press a button". This is subtle, I went and discovered about "hitstop" (confirm or blocked) and that is maybe when I want to press a button technically. But where it is more is the case of "when it is your turn" really. And that is where there is a lot of work for a 1st time FG player like me. Easy example: opponent did a 6M on me, we are both 0, or after a blocked vanish. Hard example: Opponent is sometimes delaying his attacks, can I do something or is it a guess to press reflect or a DP/lvl3? Medium example (hardest one cuz requires a ton of practice): know the opponent's blockstrings by heart, and more important, when he is in recovery frame and I can press a button safely. (this last one is where only experience can teach me that). For instance with Black, you can do a BS that ends with 5H 2H. There is a gap between the 5H and 2H, enough to reflect, not enough for anything else. Let's say i block the 2H, then he can do another move after or not. If he doesn't then I should punish if i see the recovery, so I mash because I think it is my turn. But I should do L->M as you said, to be safe if the L whiff. Except I mash because I don't know how to press L at the right time. That is my whole issue. So I mash, and auto-combo goes out.
Hey Lord Knight I have the homework answers to Mr.Brucatti's math class. Just make sure you change the answers a bit while copying so it's not obvious.
Thats not why you do 4L. It doesnt move you anywhere, it just gives you the first jab again instead of the second hit of the autocombo. So that means whatever they do out of the clash, if its slower than 6f (or however fast your jab is,) youll win and get the hit.
After j2H you hold up back and hit light, delay the second light, and then you ki blast into LL ki blast 236S. This is how Goku does his non sparking ki blast loop for extra damage. If you delay the second light correctly, you'll be able to land another two hits after the ki blast before your finisher.
4LL during clash, he uses numpad notation so that translates to "back light attack light attack" but since that's a mouthful most people in the community uses numpad notations and LMHS A1/A2 to talk about the 6 buttons, light, medium, heavy, special (ki blast) and assists

that clap was POWERFUL 👏🏾
I've wanted to say this for a while: excellent choice of background music as always!
Lmao as a vegito player I win every single clash
I actually learn a lot from watching your vids! Good work keep them coming
That clap scared the shit out of me.
Really liked the Chrono Trigger BGM. One of my favourites!!

Forgot number 6: Listen to a Lord Knight Video
What team do you run atm? Also I love you’re vids, and you’re my fav player!
Tohan, gt, ssj
chrono trigger music
The OS LM instead of LL is actually really helpful to avoid mashing after getting reflected.

THANKYOUBASEDGOD BLAZEITUP ik this a joke but how is anyone supposed to change answers to math questions
TOUCH BUTT WORKS?!?!?! Change the working.
The chrono trigger music is OD
That's cool, never thought we can OS super dash. Usually if my SD is blocked I'd just give up my turn and back dash.
Great video!
For the last point I mash but I do a quarter circle move plus assist to keep me neutral.
Your videos have conditioned me to think of you every time I hear a single clap
"it might take a while to implement all of these things"
hold my dragon ball
Hey LK! I’m having a hard ass time punishing people who superdash and jump up are there anyways to punish that or do I have to hold that?
Just wait. After they jump, they heavy, right? So wait for the heavy and then 2H it.
That Crono Trigger doh.
Asking helped ❤️
I don't understand the super dash os, the 2h os or the safe option for auto combo
Also need links for practical universal os's. Thanks in advance
I don't understand what buffering your hits are
Hey, uh LordKnight...thanks, and also, muchos garcihass
How do you move that fast tho ??
Wouldn't it be safer and more efficient to stay point-blank of the opponent when you get them to block a 6M though?
Thats not why you do 4L. It doesnt move you anywhere, it just gives you the first jab again instead of the second hit of the autocombo. So that means whatever they do out of the clash, if its slower than 6f (or however fast your jab is,) youll win and get the hit.
I've been seeing SSJ Goku's do a combo where they combo off a j2H with j7L. Can you explain how to perform that combo?
After j2H you hold up back and hit light, delay the second light, and then you ki blast into LL ki blast 236S. This is how Goku does his non sparking ki blast loop for extra damage. If you delay the second light correctly, you'll be able to land another two hits after the ki blast before your finisher.
I'm sorry what? If I do 4 L hsbsjdh. I heard something like that as the first step.

@@rickyfajar5190 ahhh ik notations. I just didn't hear the second L.
