This is the reason I'm subscribed to you. You videos are detailed and super helpful. The super jump 50/50 is something I've been struggling with while playing android 21 but this really helps
@@Kingdes121 what you can also do to make it easier is to use the 2369 TK motion to get the forward superjemp and then press H+S. I personally think that's way easier than just doing 2-9.

Great video, i liked the idea of having a list of characters who can fuzzy universally and who can SJ iad meaty. I didn't know beerus could fuzzy everyone
Not only Jiren is only +28, which means that his SJ IAD float jL is not real, but he also doesn't have a fast low, so he can't do neither of the option showed at 6:10
This is amazingly helpful thank you for the content. I knew about the SD+assist but I rarely even tried it because I was like I didn't have a high blockstun assist of like 40+frames and won't they just 2h me? Is what I asked myself since I couldn't jail into the assist I had to attempt it. Thanks to your video I know most assist should be fine for this and just like any tool it depends on how it's used as long as I'm not predictable with it once they block that SD I'm good. Appreciate this a lot.

@@KuwangerKRT Oh, then I guess it will work with UI Goku's A assist!(25 frames) I was worried about that one specifically because its the lowest blockstun assist on my team.
@@Phoenix-pb4sm i'm pretty sure 80% or more assist in this game have more than 20 frame of blockstun so it will work with most characters, except for really low blockstun like Trunks A or Frieza B
The superdash literally just beat a 6 frame jab during its start up, UI Goku’s jab is 7 frame, no matter what the hitbox is it won’t beat a SD used in a blockstring, because it literally hits you before the jab is out
pure gold, you are a legend. can you do something on snap -> SD -> roshi B, idk is it a thing? if been trying to do it with bardock but idk if its real enough to be good
I'd love to see a minor update to this to see where UI Roshi and SS4 Gogeta are. Ik UI probably doesn't get it but Roshi and Gogeta are pretty close after a corner Level 3, and even though I'm Rosé I don't know how to set up/test stuff like this hence why I'm here
Question: I have a hard time to hit the 2L after the corner SD 50/50 mix. Like with AGohan, Krilin, or A17 for instance. It feels inconsistent. Sometimes it hits, sometimes not. I almost feel the assist is "pulling out" the opponent to allow the 2L to hit, but I can't find any information at all about that. Does it also mean that shorter assists can't allow the SD 50/50 then? Like how many blockstun frames does it need between the moment the SD hit the opponent's block and the assist starts in order to leave it gapless+allow the low 2L to hit when being "pulled out" ?
I tried labbing the fuzzy off of 6M with base goku A assist but when its blocked the dummy crouches immediately after ,I just had it on crouch/block first only/switch and it seems to have no force stand. Am I doing something wrong or does this just not work?
For the fuzzy with assist thing is that just a 50/50? I have the bot set to crouching and guard all, I'm doing the setup using Adult Gohan and Base Goku when I do 6M assist IAD jL they still block it. Is this supposed to happen or did I do something wrong here?
they have to block the assist standing, when you do 6M, if they instantly crouch after the 6M landed, they can crouch while blocking the assist, but that's because it's the bot doing it, a player can but they only have a few frames to react to the assist call and crouch before the assist touched them, like it was precised they have to block the assist standing for it to work
This is an amazing video but I have one question about the uni fuzzy I set the AI to crouch and I can’t get the fuzzy to hit because the character doesn’t get stuck in standing position I’m using bardock B I don’t know how you’re getting the target to stay in standing position for me it just crouches and I can’t hit it
It's impossible to do on a cpu unless the overhead and the assist hit on the exact same frame. A crouching bot will only stand up if it is blocking an overhead. Even if there is only a frame between them, the bot will simply crouch right as the assist hits. Real players can also crouch it, but they have to crouch in the short period of time between the overhead and the assist, and if they do it too early they get hit. As long as you're within a couple frames, they'll end up blocking the assist standing. If you need to test it, you can set a dummy to do it on you instead. Keep in mind that Base Goku and Bardock B in the corner are the main two assists that have this ability, I have yet to find another 30+ blockstun single hit assist. It needs that high blockstun so you can time the assist to hit at or near the same frame as the overhead. However, this means that you have less frame advantage to work with, so even though in theory this would work with a 29 frame assist, it doesn't in practice.
@@danielvaladez1286 Like I said, use a dummy and test it on yourself. If the fuzzy works on you even if you know it's coming then it will work on the enemy. Just remember to try and time the assist hit as close to the 6M as possible so that you're forced to stand block assist; that way you can do the fuzzy. The best way to test any mixup without a training partner is to simply record it and practice against yourself.
It's a defensive technique it's also called fuzzy guard or OS blocking, the concept is that if your opponent does a mix up with two options like a high/low but they hit on different frames, you can defend against both by blocking the appropriate way on the correct frames For example, since Bardock has landing recovery on 236M, when blocking his high/low off that, if you block high and wait until you see him land to block low, the landing recovery gives you enough time to block low in time before his 2L, so you basically have a way of blocking both options without having to react
it's easier to input than doing the SJ IAD thing, and you get an unscaled starter if you hit them with 236H, also not everyone is aware of that mix up, and since it's an IAD into float jL or fast fall 2L, it kinda look reactable (imo it might be but it's still hard to block) so people don't bother with it
Characters like that either have fast command grabs like Z Broly or some sort of left/right mix up like Janemba with his teleport stuff, unfortunately some characters like Cooler do not have strong mix up at all, but they usually have something else to compensate like a good neutral game or huge damage

Superdash+assist= low or high it's a real 50/50?? Im not sure

I know this May have been asked but can every character use this?
No, most of these requires a fast low and not everyone has one, they still can do it with 2M but it makes it way easier to block

Yes but it has 2 frame less of blockstun so it's a bit harder
