I like scourge but I really wish he would’ve gotten more depth in the film similar to when megatron became a herald of unicron in tfp

Dude this goes hard. Also I loved how easily Scourge folded Optimus during their early fight. Added so much more to how powerful he was.
It took multiple injuries & getting melted in flowing lava twice in order to kill him.
Not necessarily since it was mainly done on purpose to show how “threatening” he was while making Optimus look like a punk.
nope optimus is much stronger but optimus never used his full strength he used his full strength when he said i have had enough

@@amitsinha3063 Optimus is not stronger than Scourge. When he finally managed to kill Scourge it was thanks to the fact that Scourge’s armor had been melted by lava not once but twice, which weakened it.

I just realised how similar Scourge killed Bumblebee during the museum fight and Apelinq on his home world. He:
1. Stabs both of them through the chest.
2. Blasts them using his left arm as a weapon, albeit performed differently with both deaths.
3. Rips their faction insignia straight from their bodies.
the difference is that one was pierced in the chest and the other was not revved or blown up the torso
That was only because Scourge may have used his left arm differently on bigger opponents compared to smaller ones. Let me elaborate:
Due to Bumblebee's small size, the energy cannon was the most effective at killing the Autobot Scout. Scourge had to resort to the spinning claw blast, as the former attack wouldn't do enough to subdue a large foe like Apelinq. (Take into consideration how massive his Maximal insignia was in the beginning of the film)
Not gonna lie, you will never go wrong with loyal, cold-blood, servant-type villains

Scourge is one of my favourite villains of this decade.
I think Scourge is gonna come back because when the transwarp imploded, every bit of the battle was sucked up into the part of the universe unicron is in. Including the terrorcons. My theory is that Unicron will float through the space debry and collect the pieces of the terrorcons and put them back together, making them stronger than when they arrived, with a stern punishment of course.
Scourge would either be reformed into his G1 self or into a duplicate of Optimus Prime dubbed Nemesis Prime.
Probably neither
Airazor did mention that Unicron holds possession of Scourge's soul, he is physically dead but his soul is trapped with Unicron
I think you're looking far too into this. These cool fan theories never come into being, and usually a much more simpler plot is chosen by the filmakers.

All of a sudden even I did watch the G1 series and now seeing Scourge in this movie after the first announcement and seeing the design before the trailer and the release, I already beginning to like this character and after the release, I see him as a best villain. And this tribute is amazing!

So hard to believe this was Peter Dinklage. He did SUCH an amazing job on this!
I like how this Scourge not only borrows elements from both G1 Scourge and Robots In Disguise Scourge but he also borrows elements from both The Fallen and Galvatron. First, he was created by Unicron like how he was upgraded from Thundercracker to Scourge along with Megatron to Galvatron. Second, He transforms into a Truck and has a rivalry with Optimus like in Robots In Disguise. Third, he is Unicron's number one herald and his body is like a fiery furnace, much like The Fallen. Then Finally, Unicron treats him more like a slave than his herald and torchers him when ever he fails him, which mirrors Galvatron when he fails Unicron or disobeys him.
His concept art was really familiar to the fallen

Saddest thing is Scourge was just being forced to do all of this, even after he thought he was put out of his misery by Optimus his soul still belongs to Unicron and can always just be brought back
His soul is probably being tortured and tormented by Unicron for failing him.
I imagine it's a situation similar to Megatron from transformers prime. He took in to himself dark energon, the blood of Unicron, and after he died it was revealed that Megatron couldn't join the allspark and instead he was bound to Unicrons anti-spark.
The thing is, Scourge enjoys what he does.
@@scorpion40kexactly. Forced or not he takes pleasure in killing and taking insignias as trophies. I sincerely doubt Unicron is also ordering him to collect logos.
Scourge is not being forced. Bro has no regard for Earth and said it'll be just another food for Unicron. Other than that he steals Autobot/Decepticon emblems to prove a point.
It would’ve been nice if Scourge survived, extremely damaged and left to be sucked into the portal where he meets again with Unicron. Then in the next film he could be reformatted into a more G1 Scourge and who knows, maybe a new team, one of them being Cyclonus.

as of now he is to date the most menancing Transformers villain in live action chills everytime he spoke or appeared onscreen The leader of the terrorcons hearld of unicron who takes the symbols of those hes killed...and he has alot of badges they knew how to make a villain and they didnt dissapoint amazing edits as always

I really love the CGI and VFX of this movie, and I like Scourge better as a villain than Megatron from the Bayverse.
Rise of the Beasts is also an antithesis of The Last Knight.
The vfx has more of a cartoonish look to it which isn’t awful but in a lot shots it looks like it’s not rendered completely. Kinda wish they had kept the same vfx company who did bumblebee mainly cause it felt more cinematic
@@Nightlizard1564 Okay, your opinion is subjective and completely wrong that the effects are OBIVOUSLY isn't cartoonish.
@@prehistorichero2755 it is compared to even the bayverse. Bayverse went for a more realistic/alien look to the characters and the designs felt more complex and while the bay films can sometimes fall flat vfx wise they were always great. With bumblebee they went back to the g1 designs but the vfx in that movie honestly imo felt more polished mainly because the film itself felt more polished and was on a legit budget to work with. With RoTB it’s clear the team wanted this to feel more like a classic cartoon and and some shots the vfx is fine but in a lot it feels like u can tell when the bots aren’t there and that it’s just a green screen. Like it’s not terrible like the flash or recent mcu films but it’s clear the movie didn’t have a huge budget. Just wish the vfx team from bumblebee did the film.

Scourge definitely is the third best Transformers villian after Megatron and Lockdown. This terrorcon freaked the life out of me. Scourge is a pretty well written miscreant and he brought something special to the Transformers Universe. Thanks to the one and only Peter Dinklage to bring this difficult character to life.
