The saxophone one actually surprised me for how accurate the sound was, and the key placement. I played saxophone for my band class and it was hard at first and for the first week I didn't even know how to make a sound, But now I'm homeschooled and I still have my sax in my closet, but throughout my year in band we did concerts that were pretty fun (anxiety inducing)
i'm also a saxophone but i'm doing a second year of band, and staying in band and I love the sax and that last note on the sax that she did 🤣

As an owner of an accordion I wanted to die when I realized I didn't have to use my life's savings when a melodica i found was only $17 and not $360

My nephews had one and yeah those little child "instruments" are the worst I would rather have them play with my guitar

I like the keyboard. Hey, something similar to that is how I started playing piano back when I was 9, I believe, and I loved it. Then, in 2012, I got a 61 key Casio keyboard for Christmas, and I *love* that piano, and can play a lot of songs (mostly from video games). Heck, I've been playing it almost every day lately. I'm pretty passionate about playing music, but it started with my pink keyboard that's similar to that one, so I absolutely recommend checking ones like that out. It's not too big an investment, and sounds good enough that it might get someone interested in music.
Out of all these instruments, the recorder actually has the most potential. I've seen better triangles, and the musical frog is, well, a musical frog (they are fun). The Yamaha Soprano recorder is almost indestructible and very popular among kids for that reason, but it can make beautiful music in the right hands.
The frog could be a legit percussion instrument for an acoustic performance.

Yea. I was confused to. And for abyone who wants to know the difference:
The Marimba has a larger range. It goes down to two oktaves under the middle c and up to 3 oktaves above.
The Xylopohne has a more sharp sound due to its bars mostly made out of metal and not wood like the marimba.
Also common Xylopohnes dont go under the middle c. They often start in the first and second oktave and tend to go higher than marimbas.

A xylophone can be made of metal, wood, synthetic material, even a mixture (I believe, I’m not a percussionist).

I mixed something up.
The Glockenspiel commonly covers 2 oktaves and goes up to 3 1/2 oktaves.
The Glockenspiel is also often used i marching bands. So that one in the video is a Glockenspiel. :)
And a small fact:
Glockenspiel is a German word and literally translated it means Bells-play.
She said that if she knew how to play she would probably give it a 9/10 and that’s the equivalent to saying “I would give this cake a 10/10 but it was made by a store I don’t know”
That recorder is the exact same one I had in fourth grade. Same model same everything- not to mention we all had to learn hot cross buns :)

I had a electric keyboard like the one in the vid, except it was bigger and pink. It had like 8 different beats, a record function a option to change the instrument, and even pre-played songs so it looked like you were actually good. It sounded like the noises of hell in a few years but it was nice having it!

I always wanted to play the flute as a kid, but obviously my parents wouldn't let me, so I settled for a recorder. I must say that I was honestly a beast at it. It was also the same one in the video, and was in year 5. This must be a universal experience for everyone on earth.

I started playing recorder in 3rd and we got strings put on the recorder everytime we successfully did a song and I was the best in my class but not the best in the 3 classes (we played 3-5 grade)
As a percussionist of four years, watching her, hold, the triangle beater like that hurts me
Bought my son that exact accordion when he turned 3. He’s 14 now and we still have it LOL It sounds cheap, but at least in our case, it’s still kicking.
That’s also serving years of being tossed in a toy box and other kids living to mess with it when they would come play. So just my experience.

For the recorder instrument, I played it in 3rd grade. Don't blow too hard on it, and make sure to cover up the holes completely when you're playing notes.

Your little accordion is diatonic this means that the note you get when you expand the bellows will be different to the note you get when you compress the bellows. As opposed to the chromatic piano accordion when you get the same note whether expanding or compressing the bellows.
6:35 you need to fully cover the holes on the recorder. otherwise it willsound bad
