JK, I'm not really that much of a music nerd/jerk. The only thing that really bothered me was the bow.

Like clarinets have more keys then a saxophone (at least more than a tenor saxophone) btw I play tenor saxophone as well… Those kids toys for trumpet/sax/clarinet are just as bad or worse than the mini guitars you see in the dollar store but they won’t time so they’re worse than the one in this video
Listen- Kalimba's are so versatile that you can play any collection or combination of keys, not know what you were doing, and it would still sound amazing.

This Kalimba you received sounds really great. This brand is also amazing. They started as a small business and they have this thing of planting a tree for every kalimba they sell. I have one of these and my beloved shiny Kimi. Both sound so beautiful!
As a percussionist I can tell you usually professional tambourines, for orchestral uses, costs around 350 to even 800 euros...being a percussionist is soooo expensive!
@@bluejay9638 a nice marimba can cost anywhere between like 5 thousand and 17 thousand dollars and that's only the marimba. then you have to get a wide variety of mallets because they all sound so different. violins and other stringed instruments can cost a lot, but it's no denying that mallet percussion is expensive.
I got so excited when you played that Kalimba oh my gosh- I have around 3 now, as I got addicted after my first Kalimba :)) (The glass ones are the heaviest but the prettiest sounding in my opinion)
I do own a kalimba! They are origanaly an african instrement used to replicate the sound of rain. And yes you use your thumbs. I recommend looking at tourials first (if you want to play). Its pretty simple, I’m sure you will learn it quickly. Good luck!

As someone that's played the piano for roughly 25 years, I've always wanted to try the melodica. And the music producer in me wants to get a quality one and experiment to see what it sounds like in an actual song
