Usually if GameStop gives you a crap case for a game even if the display copy has art, they’ll give the display art back to you if you ask.

Way 2 soon to say this so stfu, I hated sword and shield but I never immediately hated on the game in the first week because that’s not enough game play to hate it. If you played it fully already then u clearly rushed it and couldn’t fully enjoy it
I see why you say this but for me and another friend we had an blast messing around in the world
It’s the not the gameplay isn’t fun, it’s that the performance issues are much worse than usual. I cant play for 5 minutes without watching characters move in 20 FPS or environments begin to glitch out. The game is fun, but it’s not fun to play when it’s this messy

Mocking Arceus graphics is ironic since Scarlett ended up being far worse graphically and performance wise lol. It made me lose all interest in buying it.

@@cubedstudios Are you able to find anything at those new places? I have found that resellers in my area wipe everything out and all that is left are sports titles and other unwanted titles.

I feel bad, I love these places just to look at games, then, I strike, and BUY every single last one in stock. My wallet hates me, I had a 540.00$ dollar budget, wasted on switch games-I’ll name all 12 games, the Sony and Xbox games are excluded. Anyways, I also spend too much time buying physical games-Still, I feel bad.

Youre very close to Finland in here all Prismas have atleast like 30 - 40 different switch games and Gigantti has even more with some on sale for 30 euros if they are kinda random (youll find some great ones for 30 like sonic mania or crash bandicoot n sane trilogy)

A few weeks ago, gamestop was buying broken ps4 controllers for $31 (store credit). I sold 20 controllers for $620. I got a ps5 and some games.
When u buy a game to resell/flip on Amazon or eBay, u don't know if or how long it will take to find a buyer. U could sit on a game for a while and have to lower your price to sell it, thus losing profit. Then u have to package up and ship all of these games out which is a hassle. U have to spend hundreds up front to buy these games in the expectation of being able to quickly flip them for a profit. It's a large initial investment that may or may not always work out as intended. I will only do a few game flips per year. Mostly during the holiday period.

My GameStop didn’t give me the enamel pin, they always forget the preorder bonuses, but it’s the only GameStop within a few hours of my house. (Also I thought the games were pretty good at least, performance was a minor issue for me)

You don’t know what it means to me to see that midnight releases are still a thing, my greatest gaming memory was waiting for the original black ops since it came out on my birthday in November, you triggered a happy memory
Midnight releases happen all the time. Except they aren’t really at midnight. It’s always like 9:30-10:30 when the go live. They just aren’t special anymore cause you could digitally download the game and get it the second it unlocks. Another reason is pre-ordering has ruined it. As their is no problem getting your hands on one as you are pre-purchasing which adds to the desired amount. Plus there has never been a game that absolutely blows the hype through the roof to where people fight to get a copy. Back then, it was always the fear of missing out and possibly waiting to be told that they ran out of stock. I think the last year I ever had trouble buying a game on release was probably around 2012/2013. Games are just way more accessible today, and 99% of games are overhyped or garbage at release. 😂

In our city 2 cops found 3 guys doing coke outside our gamestop while waiting for Pokemon Scar/Vio. They tried to fist fight some guy for his double pack. All three of them got hauled off in the paddywagon for attempted assault, robbery and under the influence of narcotics. It was kinda funny tho watching them try to get ahold of the guy with the double pack while being dragged by 8 cops 😂
I cannot understand the way he makes profit, you can for sure sell a Madden 15, for that price, but who gonna buy that specific game (i can imagine this game is not a trend game, or at least, a game that someone would play nowadays) from that specific seller

I dont get the issue with the monkey ball game. Why didnt you ask them to give you the other case? Thats what i do at gamestop and they usually change it out for me
