    Good Morning Alison-
    Once again you have amazed me with your teaching skills. Thank you for this beautiful Sticth. You stay safe and I thank you for your easy made projects.
    I am learning so much! Keeping a border is very important indeed, because now I don't have to hide my uneven edges with a pretty border as I have always done.
    I have also learned from you on chain turning and entering the second Stitch instead of going into the turning chain and entering that same chain.
    This nugget of truth has helped me tremendously . Thank you. God bless and Godspeed! ❤ Rosie!

    Oh I just LOVE THIS!! Not only for blankets, but other possibilities like cuffs/waistbands around sweaters, or just ribbed borders. I worked up a swatch using it with single crochet also, and it did make a "tighter" ribbing, but it's very "figety" to do. There are a lot of possibilities with this. Thank you! ❤️🧶

    Hello! I have been crocheting this way on toddler blankets for years! My Mom asked where I got the pattern from in the early 1990's! Too funny, never thought to name the stitch of the blanket. It looks easier than it is to get going, and one does gave to concentrate on what section one is in...all in all once you get the first couple of rows done it does go quickly.
    The Train Track...thanks for naming it! 😉

    • @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel
      @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel  4 года назад

      It just shows how people come up with the same ideas I saw it on an older tutorial and the lady said it was called train tracks because thats what it looked like but in a stitch book its under front side stitch and in another i saw online it was deep ridge stitch

    The same stich works for a golf wood cover. Do the top like a beany cap and the sleeve in this stitch. It is stretchy so the wood goes in OK. P. S. Use the magic circle cast on for the top and add a pompom. Enjoy your crocheting.
