love this, can I sense an Aaron / Bryce Dessner-influenced strumming pattern?
Hi! Thanks for watching. I wouldn't say so, it's just semiquavers really - but then I haven't heard too much of their stuff tbh...which tracks/albums should I be listening to? I really like "I Need My Girl" hence doing this: ruclips.net/video/r3D0Cn3t86E/Π²ΠΈΠ΄Π΅ΠΎ.html
@@Penfriendrocks on 500 Miles, i thought i recognised the strumming pattern for Slow Show
@@DANJONPEARCEIβll look it up, I havenβt heard that one!
@@Penfriendrocks Just watched this again and it's a really impressive work so wanted to show my regards. Also just re-read your message and thought about the albums, this is easy for me having really dwelled on the National since Boxer (2007). They can be considered very much like the modern-day REM (they do mention them in I'm Not in Kansas) with quite an extensive back catalog. My personal favorite albums are High Violet, and I am Easy to Find (this one was hard work but worth it) and the latest one is The First Two Pages of Frankenstein.
I would gladly have a look at the tracks/song interpretations etc and pull out some points if you are interested.
