This is so clever! Moving the duplicate down the 4,000 pixels perfectly positions it for the repeat. That method where you select and drag your image to the opposite edge never works for me, but this should work perfectly. Thank you so much for showing how to do this!

Thank you so much , love love love your you tube channel. What size of file size do you use for patterns that you want to sell online? I have only used illustrator so far to learn surface pattern design because it’s scalable.

Normally 3600 px x 3600 px which is 12" x 12", hope this helps!

I'm looking into becoming a surface pattern designer... Would you say 4000 pixels by 4000 pixels is the standard for doing a design? I've done many of mine 3000 by 3000 pixels. I'll move up to 4000 if you think it's worth it?
