To everybody reading this, I hope that whatever is bothering you or that you are continuously worried about improves. May your mind be free of gloomy thoughts, overthinking, and skepticism right now. May clarity triumph over ambiguity. May your life be filled with peace and tranquility.
Thanks for this. I'm an intermediate at photoshop but I was struggling with this for a mockup of hundreds of items. You just saved me a ton of time! Every point made - nothing missed - easy to follow step by step. I'm now busy making 25 of my own templates. Bravo PiXimperfect! Much appreciated
Another awesome tutorial, thank you Unmesh! For those that it will help, here is an outlines of the steps shown in this video: 1. Measure sides of the surfaces of interest to establish proportions 2. Create correspondingly-sized rectangles a. Make these different colors for different surfaces b. Lay these out in an unfolded manner with shared seams where there is to be continuity c. Be as exact as possible with regard to layout and vertex location d. Select all of these (they exist in individual layers) and make smart object e. Move the whole assemblage into as close to what will be its final (warped) position as possible 3. Warp rectangles into place a. Edit > Perspective Warp (with the above smart object selected) b. Draw rectangles around the rectangles, going from outside in and noting that shared edges (will become folds) are highlighted i. Zoom in on each vertex and move into perfect position (use Window>Navigator and click around to get around quickly) ii. Save c. Select 'Warp' up top in Options bar d. Stretch each vertex into its precise position on the image (will take several laps b/c when you move one vertex the others also move), which will make the rectangles deform e. Commit changes by hitting top checkmark or hit Return 4. Modify the smart object(s) 1. If there are multiple smart objects you are using (e.g. outside and inside of a carton), group them together 2. Select the base object (the carton) in the image (e.g. use Pen tool) 3. Create mask for the base object which hides the smart object excess regions 4. Change the smart object group blend mode to Multiply (if, say, the goal is to get a graphic onto a white surface) 5. Use Blend If to allow the light pixels from underlayer base object to show through 5. Apply and edit the graphic 1. Double-click on smart object icon to open 2. Place a graphic on top of the rectangles and establish a clipping mask; edit the graphic further as desired i. Have graphic and base image open together: Window > Arrange > Two-Up Vertical 3. Close and save; it will now be on your main image
Wow, I can't imagine anyone not watching your videos to the end! Those folks are truly missing out. And thank you for the link to the mock-up! You're a great instructor, btw. God bless you bro, and keep on doing what you're doing. :)
It is amazing how often I start your videos and think, "eeh I know all about this tool...not sure I need to watch this..." but then I keep watching and sure enough you use it in a different way, and I WATCH TO THE END ;-) and learn a little more every time!
The ending was so very wholesome. Your guides are totally meant to be watched to the very end. You deserve it, man. Every sub, like, view, it's all for you, for guiding other how to become a successful graphic disgner. As always, keep up the excllent work my friend. Best teacher on RUclips!❤
P.s I was almost giving up hope for this career until your channel changed me. It gave me something to cling onto, working my own way into becoming a successful student. My own professor couldn't do that. But you did. Thank you!!!!!!🙏
For whatever reason, the whole Photoshop teaching community is so wholesome and engaging. There's so much high quality and free resources out there it's amazing. I started learning to basically create memes and inside jokes. But it's gotten to the point where I could probably freelance for a bit of cash on the side lol.
I'm in the 4-6%.I watch all your videos until the end because you tend to circle back around and bring everything together at the end. You most always give extra tips as you go along throughout the video. You are a brilliant and talented Adobe Professor 😊✌️
I was getting so burnt out with Photoshop, using it for over 10 years just for professional/corporate work. But my man, you have ignited a new fire in me. I want to get back into using Photoshop for fun again! Thank you so much :)
I am learning Photoshop from scratch and I am watching your videos on all the topics/tools. It takes practice but I am really improving. Thank you very much!!!
Those 5% who stay ate here for learning. Internet seems wierd but it is not , you have to consider that you are giving away one of the best (my opinion the best) Photoshop tutorial for free and we all know we people don't actually value anything until we pay for it . --- Bit practical view of this unfortunate situation.
I stayed until the end of the video and boy it was worth it! I enjoyed the whole video, the way you explain things is just easy to comprehend and also fun at the same time. This tutorial is very useful for me as I will be planning on becoming a graphic designer and this would help in the future when creating mockups. Also, thanks for the gift!
I just search through a few number of vids.. and yours is the best.. thorough and quite easy to understand.. You explain every single bit, even the smallest details, while the others just skipped through em..
I already recommended you until now to so many people, not only friends, but people that are creative but don't know psp. You are a very good teacher, also with a such good presentation and not so much asking for... what so many ytbers spam their clips. So, only good things to say about you. Cheers to a simple good man!
I always watch until the end! Your videos give me great value and I appreciate you! You are a great teacher and very kind person! Thank you for all the great knowledge you give us! ❤️
I'm literally crying right now like a baby. I love your Photoshop tutorials, learned so much about photo editing. The ending of the video ... omg ♥️ thank you so much! 🙏
I usually watch your tutorials to the end unless I need to know a good way to do something I'm already working on in photoshop . Then I'll just look for your method and get back to work
You might not be the best designer or photoshop artist out there but 1thing i can bet my with is you are the best teacher ever!... I don't like to watch long videos but the moment i click in your thumbnail I'm lost...🙏 GOAT

may i have to stop halfway just to say i am lovin the details put in this tutorial, tysm for putting in the effort in categorizing in such order and precision and not leaving any confusion on the table, im subscribing rn
As always, this tutorial was on point and easy to follow along. Lately I started using Adobe Dimension to create my mock-ups, there are a lot of good free 3D models on the internet and the advantage is that you can create the scene and the lighting the way you want it to look, furthermore you can then use it as a mock-up whenever you want because you can use UV unwrapping in Adobe dimension and then apply your graphics on that UV in Photoshop.
Perfect video and it was really engaging with somone that zones out alot during long videos. Your style is teally attaight forward and to the point, you also explain WHY you chose every option instead of simply giving instructions. Keep up the great work 💕
If I only found this way back when I was grade 4, 11 years ago, I might be 101x professional now. Haha. Lack of knowledge plus difficulties of life ( I can't afford my own professional desktop set ) plus being distracted by other profession, this is the result, I stopped when I was grade 6 and now I'm about to start again. I believe it's not to late. His videos are advanced and FAST.
yeah you are wellcome, because your the best teacher. but I rather make it myself, meaning watching your video along with it again till the end. so no problem!
Wow, you are such great teacher! It's my first time seeing your channel and you seem like such a nice person! You remind me of my former boss, who used to explain Photoshop tricks to us the same way, with a warm tone and a lot of patience. I'm going to check out all your other videos now :D Thank you!
I've never seen such a finely crafted training video in my life... Man, you're amazing! From the hotkeys to the annotations, everything is perfect. Not to mention the content of the video! Why didn't I see you before, why didn't you meet me before...? Thank you very much, I'll be your follower from now on. 💙💙💙
You are very Spacial to me sir.. Apko dekh kr hi toh photoshop sikha hai bina koi aur couse kiye.. Aur job v mil gyi mujhe .. pishle 4 saal se apki videos dekh raha hu
This is the first time I've found your channel. I'm totally new to Photoshop, but I need to create a mockup for a job pitch. So, I feel confident with this tutorial that I can get it done and submit my application. Thank you!
If every my teacher was like Unmesh I'd know everything in the world by now. Though I'm thankful that there are people like this around. And you, those who watch him, learn the right thing and gonna be much better as artists and humans.

Hooray for secret link!
