I got excited about these 2022 predictions from Elon, Saylor and more. They're pretty damn optimistic and who knows if they'll happen, but it's absolutely amazing that these smart people think it's even possible. The future looks bright!

I made a $100 bet 9 years back, that in 10 years everyone would be regularly taking resveratrol supplements. (grimace) It's not looking good.
The aging problem is two part,
1: the actual aging (the telomere problem is my guess for the primary sticking point for that)
2: neuro-plasticity, because solving the ability to learn decreasing with aging will be very important for a post-aging population)
It would be nice if my 54 year old body matched the youthfulness that I feel! Aging sucks! Lol

You know Emmett, they better get on this aging thing now because by the time you and me could afford it we really would need it. If they don't make that widely available in the next 20-25 years otherwise we both might not see the benefit of it.

since the rate of new births has declined in the US, it would greatly behoove us to not lose our population to the natural effects of aging. given that reality has slowly turned into a scifi premise... this is definitely happening with every good and bad consequence taking place at some point on the timeline
