  • The GAC GS3 EMZOOM has arrived in the Philippines. With a very competitive spec and equipment list, standout looks, and an extremely competitive price, is it officially the best in the subcompact crossover segment? We review it to find out.

Hi sir you are doing great with your reviews but please fix your audio, some noise reduction and compression would go a long way in terms of clarity.

There are times that i am doubtful of the “gas consumption” reviews. I wish they drove it for a whole day, on a Monday to see the real fuel consumption

I have a GAC Emzoom R-style . I drove it from MM to Baguio and back and secured 6.3L/100km using extensively the ACC. My set speed is 110/kph once well inside the expressways.

Have you tested how good the sunroof cover is at blocking heat? The fabric seems very thin to me.

I think that is the few problems of coolray on the older generation. Kaya nagpalit sila sa thicker sunroof cover. Dahil during summer, wala na. Tapos na usapan. Hahahaha

R-style (top of the line) variant is better than the Coolray Sport, but go down to the base and mid variants, and you're better off buying the Coolray's base or mid variant instead.

but based on fuel efficiency of the engines, gac's engines are more fuel efficient even though they are 4 cylinders compared to geely's 3 cylinder.

This car is perfect for Chinese people in china, whereas if incase of issues the spare parts and service is too easy for them. But, if you are trying to buy china cars here in Philippines make sure the service is convenient and the part's are available like the issue of geely 70% of owners complaining about the service (Not saying all of service center of the car dealer) but, if you have the budget why don't you try to buy Branded vehicle. (My point is kung saan yung alam mong hindi sasakit and ulo mo) tips: Don't be attracted about the aggressive looks/design and some electronic features, think about the performance, durability and the part's na easy to find. Well this car look so fancy. Remember always think twice before choosing the perfect car para at the end of the day na hindi mo pagsisihan. Well sir nice review very informative 👌

Where did you get the STATS that 70% of the owners are complaining? Fake news peddler.

Sa lahat ng car when it comes to parts and availablity nagkaka delay and problems talaga minsan. Maliban nalang siguro sa toyota dahil talamak talaga ang parts nyan sa pinas but other brands have delays in their parts and service as well.
For me i'd rather drive and own a really nicer car like the emzoom over lets say the boring "branded cars that are overpriced with fewer features and less comfort" because everyday I'm driving the car i am feeling good and having fun with my purchase rather than just having ok features at a higher price na di naman ako nag eenjoy i-drive. If masira and i have to wait 5 months to get it repaired then thats on me. But the rest of the time i have the car is enjoyable so okay narin saken. To each their own naman kung ano priority nila in owning a car.

70% of the owners complaint about the services? Did they make a poll about it? Anyway, If you’ve been owning a few branded cars over the years, mauumay ka rin sa cheap upgrades nila kada generation and overpriced pa. A few more years, China will flood the local market with spare parts at reasonable cost, I’m sure they already know that parts availability is one of the strategy that they can use to compete with the Japanese brands. In the end, consumers wins kaya welcome sa akin etong market disruption na ito, tapos balik japanese uli ako 😅

    • @12fifty

Well guy's it your choice naman which brand you preferred, anyway i just heard this from my friend and i also visit their FB page about china cars so i witnessed their complains about the issue of China cars and services dami grabe same sila ng comment about spare parts. About others brands yes my delays talaga but not too long not unlike china brands my few friends complaining it took 6 months bago naayos ang units nila and dumating parts. I am not against china brands we all know the quality diba? I am also a car & motorcycle enthusiast pero xiempre mas pipiliin ko yung alam kong hindi ko pagsisihan yung choice ko. Anyway guys just to enlightened you i am not here to argue or something just saying my thoughts, opinion and being honest. If papapilihin ako if china or korean brand well of course i will choose korean brand kahit na alam naten medyo my kaunting kamahalan yung parts well i will go with korean kesa naman pabalik balik and sakit ng ulo sa paulit ulit na problema. Thanks for the reply anyway. Keep safe always.

@@12fifty bakit mo nilalahat ng chinese cars ay sirain just because of that one particular issue you've seen in the internet? 😅yung tinutukoy may ay napaka simpleng sira lang about fuel pump that can be easily fixed, it was not the car's problem really but their after sales service. have you actually asked those chinese cars owner how satisfied are they with their cars? obviously not, it was all your speculations just reading through the internet comments. before you judge do yourself a favor and ask some chinese car owner and i'm pretty sure they're more than happy to tell you that they have chosen it over some known brands out there in the market that are underspec yet overly priced. anyways you do you, you don't really have to tell us what kind of brands you prefer kasi naka engrained na jan sa utak mo na all chinese product are cheaply made. you already assumed that they will break in less than a year. very close minded honestly.
