This car has been with me for 5 months. There has been no negative feedbacks; excellent value!
Wait for at least a couple of years
@@GreatGrandmasterWang like Toyotas they have parts that gets damaged :)
Dude just laid out the reliability card again. Too bitter for emerging Chinese cars? Ingat ka baka maubos lahat ng gamit mo sa bahay if you hate Chinese made products.
@@jowieonit where are you gonna get parts though?
@GreatGrandmasterWang original parts from the GAC company themselves.
yes there will be a waiting time same as toyota OEM parts in CASA but...
Atleast it aint class B parts
This car has an R version in China, which looks the same as the regular version, but it only takes 5.7 seconds to accelerate to 100km/h, which achieved very good results in track testing. And the most expensive version is priced at only 150,000 RMB in China, which is about 1,150,000 Philippine pesos. It’s a pity that this version was not introduced to the Philippines
Always THE BEST CAR REVIEW VLOG AND YT CHANNEL! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
This empow is what made me research more about GAC early this year. never thought I would fall in love with the brand and hope to own one someday
With their experience coming from GAC-Toyota, GAC-Honda and GAC-Mitsubishi im not surprised they were able to pull off this kind of sedan with the GAC Empow GE
I assume you saw the Emzoom R-style? ;)
Great review as always. This is a fun sedan with some niggles like that low ground clearance, but that exhaust and price is great.
Now if they only released the Empow R version 👌💪
Sedans today are in a decline because they don’t look as good and as fun as they were in the 90s. And some look outdated and underpowered like the Honda City RS and Toyota Vios GR. This is how sedans should look and feel to drive. The interior is a work of art, and the power is competitive to the performance of crossovers like the Coolray.
just my observation, the rear seats are positioned a little to upright. can be a little uncomfortable on long drives
Wala talagang tapon sa line up ng GAC. Sulit kada sentimo ng pera mo esp now they have a promo na you get 2yrs free pms if you purchase til the end of the year. Also, nabasa ko sa mga fb group ng mga gac owners may nabibilihan ng spare parts outside of casa like Banawe. So.. grabe ganda lol
Much premium looks than the known competitors
I love you guys!
greetings from Poland ;)
Good looking sedan
If i live in a country where you don't worry about potholes i'd strongly consider this. But im in the Philippines so......
If theres a way you can put GCR engine to Geely emgrand that will be a blast in competition.
I just saw the Empow vs. Evo video. LOL 😂
My dream car. 💚
Putting Jack in the trunk is mean..
do it again!
Rwd, 6 speed manual please!
Does it have a manual transmision
Yes, yes it can.
Man you gotta answer your followers questions
looks very sporty
If only it had an RWD and manual option, that would've been sick 😩
The seatbelt is cool but not sure how long that yellow will stay yellow
Idk but the backseat ones will definitely stay yellow
Wait isn’t the Civic around 4,700mm too?
I still don't know what to get, Civic RS or this. Reliability is still a what if on this but I really love its features
You can never go wrong with a Honda. And at the end of the day, a Chinese car will always be a Chinese car. It will never be on par with brands like Honda or Toyota in terms of value when you decide to get rid of it years later.
@joshualabios4021 saying "never" wold be a bold statement..
@@joshualabios4021 you do know Japanese companies like Toyota and Honda get help from other chinese companies right?
@@markoligaya560 yes, and? Actually it doesn’t matter even if they get help from African companies. What matters is how strong Japanese brands are and how proven and tested their cars are compared to Chinese cars. Like in phones, would you choose a China phone over iPhone? I doubt anyone will take that risk if they’re smart enough.
Get the Mazda 3.
Beautiful car.
I like it but I doubt its reliability so far. Maybe after 3 yrs if no major issue arises about the unit then i will buy.
It's Toyota inside the hood. Go and search on Google. Reliability should not be an issue...
It is only right to be cautious when buying chinese cars
Put Jack in the box, do it Caco.
I think it's maganda 🤔
sure brow
availability of parts? good?
Not good
Caco looks like Homelander
Are you on drugs?
Just get a Mazda 3
These Chinese car brands are getting better over time.
Nah
Technically they are, in terms of design they still aren't improving. And they still have embarrassing features like *top player is ready for fighting*
youre brainded if you think like that. Look at Hongqi EV's in china catching fire
@@yashirou618 in youtube video you can see even mercedes benz, tesla , volkswagen, got fires
Sorry, still not a fan of Chinese cars… Ok sa porma pero hindi pangmatagalan! I will still get Japanese or Korean brands.
Ano po yung watnut?
Whatnot?
That's how you refer to things vaguely. Just like etcetera
"Bakit hindi"
The design is very impeccable, but why did they have to name it like that 😥
forgot to try the speakers
Even dodge rebadge engineered this one on their 4th gen Attitude.
The front looks like a merc a35 front.
#jackinabox
GAC makes me want to YAC😂
Lalabas nanaman mga chinese brand haters. Then on top of that, they dont know anything about GAC "CHinese = bad"
I see a lot of Lexus IS, Toyota Camry and BMW 5series in this 😂......nice car though
kinda look like mustang
rear looks like a supra
I really wanted to buy Chinese Car brand because of features tech but every time I saw Chinese Navy bullying our fishermen and coast guard it really felt bad. Something I couldn't take it asking myself why should I buy car that is the enemy of my country. Really strange feeling.
Except that most of your household stuff are already Made in China so how are cars made by them any different?
@@adzyu9222 because cars cost more than a million?
GAKO
China owns the Philippines politically, economically and militarily. I’m not sure how you could think you are “enemies” to the one that has full dominance and influence over you. ❤
eh hehey
If I have the money, I will not waste it to a Chinese Car.
It seems like the auto industry in the philippines has fallen behind because i have never seen a people not even one people who review a car that is made in the philippines, fully design and manufactured in the philippines and 100 percent came from a philippines car brand its seems like we cant even use our engineering skills to build our own car brand the fact that even tho india government might be corrupt they still have their own car brand which is very succesful in their own country which is know as tata so if indians car build a car brand so why can filipinos cant but i think the reason why filipinos can't make and build a car brand is because the government is corrupt it seems like they only care about the money they get from foreign automakers who imported their cars here rather than helping and supporting people here that want to start a car brand and another reason why filipinos can't make a car brand here is that rich people don't want to invest in this project, business because they don't know if the brand will be successful or not but the big reason why filipinos can't make a car brand is that filipinos car buyers fall in love too much on foreign car import because filipinos car buyers think that a car that will be 100 percent made here might cost more than a foreign imported cars so thats why philippine might not have a car brand. That just my opinion
Because there aren't any, hahaha
Canada is a big country with big economy and a very big car market. and yet, it deosnt have it own multinational car brand. Why the rant though?
Malaysia has its own car but a rebadge. Singapore is a wealthy country but not own a car manuf. Now what?
Car manufacturing is not for everyone. If you do a little google search you’ll find out how many car companies all over the world that went bankrupt, in Europe alone there are hundreds. Australia has outo manufacturing industry before but now its non existent.
Abangan mo ung Kalesa GTR EV
this car is for rich only
I personally wont support China brands...
Bro we're near 2024 and u guys still on 1080p.
Tapos san mo panooren? Sa celpon?
this is a review not a movie.
Sorry but di nka 2K and above yung target market nila

No thanks i dont want to put dollars into the Chinese communist parties pockets. Ill take the Toyota any day of the year 😊 will probably last longer than tofu vehicle too 😂
correct. the money you spend buying this crap will be use in building thr ccp navy that harasses our own cost guards and fisherman.
In 10 years the Mazda, Toyotas and Hondas would still be running ang that thing would have gone into the junkyard. For the price why not a civic? why not a mazda 3 fastback. Why gamble your hard earned money on a chinese car.
How are you so sure? Where's your actual empirical data to back that up outside of your Japanese bias memes?
If garbage Filipino jeeps made by Sarao are still running after 20 years, why would cars made by companies directly competing with the world's best manufacturers be somehow unable to pull off the same or even better?
@@inzane456Japanese have been reliable ever since. Chinese brands, we are not sure yet. No data since all these brands are fairly new to the Philippines
@@inzane456Mr know it all, it's no japanese bias. If u want empirical data, do urself a favor and count the amount 2000s Japanese cars on ur road. U want a Chinese car, go ahead. But imo I'd stick to my 2008 Subaru with 200k km on it and I assume ur a petrol head too so u should know that Subarus are known to break down easily.
@@louie125 That's exactly my point, the current generation of Chinese vehicles haven't had enough time in the market to prove anything at all. To compare the Chinese cars to Toyotas and Hondas still running around today from 20 years ago is outright intellectual dishonesty.
Let's see how it will do after 50k kl hahaha. I'd go for a Corolla or a Civic anytime of the day! Another Chinese shit hahaha
akala mo talaga may pang bili 😘
wag ka po mag alala may mga chinese shit na po na umaabot ng 100k km millage, gawin mo na kayang 500k para sagad na?
Lampas 68k na Coolray ko ano daw?
Walang pambili lines to haha
Honda civic rs all the way
