I am noticing that fighters mask is the best start for solo lane. I wonder if they should buff the tier one of starter items for the solo lane to make them be used more over fighters. Probably not but its just an idea.
For guardian solo laners, I use this cheese start where I get vamp shroud and tier one Bancrofts like how mages do. I get whatever relic I want and fill the rest with health and multi pots. I clear blue super fast and don't need to even blink to get the minions. I have insane sustain and can both PvE and PvP. Do note I use this start primarily on Ymir and this would force you to go bancrofts as a first item unless u wanna sell it later on and waste some gold. Cthulhu soloing blue might need you to have blink to get to the minions. I will try this with Sobek and let you know how it goes.
@@mamspugeti6931 best part is you can stop people's clear by freezing them while they do it and hit them and the wave because they are stationery. Artio, ares, cerberus, Loki, Guan yu and most other picks in solo have a horrible time clearing if u can freeze them while they use their main clearing ability. Very unlikely you lose lane. edit: Izanami if she knows how to dash away from your freeze and if you don't have blink equals sad laning phase.
Will conduit gem guardians come back next patch? Since it’s getting more power and still has true damage, what about building that and then a t1 def item? Also, awesome informative video! I always learn so much watching your videos!
Guardians have shit power scaling (excluding fafnir dragon form) so power doesnt matter much. But the true damage does help them clear but vamp shroud and it’s upgrade bload soaked have sustain and prots, along with power.

I like just giving up pressure and playing things like sentinels gift so you don’t get behind and starting with your jungler. It’s lame to lane phase, but your upgrades late game are great and you’re hard to gank if you just play safe and have insane front line and peel late game.

T2 stone of fal, a health pot and a multi pot, and then do the bracer strategy Fine showed us in the other video to clear buff, with stone of fal getting so damn buffed, Cthulhu will feel like he has double passive once u basic attack and 1 the other solo.
This is a great video but I do have 2 concerns. I wish at least 1 time you would have done an actual blue buff to lane with a couple of waves to tie everything you said together. 2, the totem. I know it gives MP5 for all your teamates but when do you prioritize that over other camps. Other than that great video my man.

Pro tip: force your friend to become a Baron main so you get his Brew at the start of every game, then you feel overconfident, give the enemy first blood, tilt your team and lose. That's what I do. Just kidding, I have no friends.
I’m not FO but I personally enjoy T2 Berserkers/Shifters shield. Not as much power as mask but 20 power and 15 prots + chalice/1 pot feels decent. That js of course, if you’re skipping a starter and still want pressure, plus with OP benevolence you’re gonna be getting that regardless.
@@SunderingLoki bluestone is good, but if you accidentally hit the enemy solo and aggro the minions, a warrior or guardian with vamp shroud will box the shit out of you and maybe even get a kill. That's why I prefer warriors axe and playing back a bit until I can get some protections or a gank from my jungler

Tbh I use to play most of the time guardians/tanky mages in solo and I play more for the mid-late game. Idm to lose a bit of pressure with them cuz I consider them to be better later on. With Cthu for example I just start with Axe + chalice + hog and until I do not get my first defense item I dont really play that much aggresive, mainly bc I know well how much threat is rangda's dmg in early, but as I said Idc, I'm not playing a duel, I play for the teamfights 🙃
Maybe, but I think there's not too much sustain there. Unless your jungler ganks at level 2 and the enemy solo isn't warding, you probably aren't going to win the fight because most solo laners are warriors or guardians with good starters/stats. Manakins isn't personally my favorite, but if you went an AA character with pots, you might do okay in lane (depending on the match up and their build)
@@aToxicJester he is starting blue, but before the camps spawn arachne is setting up the spiders. Best thing to do is type in chat if possible to tell them not to I guess.
I usually start blue but I'll free ward near solo harpy if arachne or Sylvanus are on the enemy team. I've caught them a few times trying to be sneaky.
@@aToxicJester I think he means ally Arachne jungle. The old meta where jungle helped clear blue Arachne would pre set her spiders on her solo’s blue to help clear quicker than the other jungle.
LOL I thought you meant a pesky invade. Na man if I see arachne putting spiders on my blue at the start I just go to lane after I aggro blue to her spiders, they can't kill it by them selves and I go back and clear it myself after second wave and totem or first wave if I feel I have fast enough clear not to miss minions. Yea it's a level disadvantage if solo shows up during first wave but you'll need to adapt to the situation the best you can.
yeah its a cool item but its REALLY, REALLY garbage right now, and even the upgrades arent worth it, why would go for it when you have Warrior's Axe that actually is good through the whole game and have amazing upgrades and its truly defensive, to go for Sigil that doesnt gets better through the game (remember, Warrior's axe gets more damage and healing leveling up, while Sigil will always be only 10 flat dmg reduc) AND the upgrades arent good at all
extra: a funny comparation that doesnt make sense how hirez allow It:::::::: Sundering Axe while doing that HUGE amount of damage it will heal you, and just 1 hit is enough to ensure the effect all the time, every 7 seconds but, Infused Sigil only does sometimes a bit more damage than Sundering, but It doesnt heal you and its harder to ensure the effect, because you need a lot of abilities being thrown at you to start even channeling the passive :((

You could, but you still need fighters first because you'll get heavily out pressured otherwise. You could grab it on your first back, but that's still iffy because I don't believe it has any protections. If you really want it I'd suggest picking it up much later in the game. Just my opinion tho!

Likely not, vamp shroud is much better cause of the tankiness and crazy sustain

Upper levels will punish your early game squishiness for that

I keep getting Arachne jungle leaving their fucking spiders on my blue buff at the start and completely ruining my lane.
