I'd say "dont be afraid to go in". I see way too many solo laners standing in the backline, waiting for the jungler or support to engage when they should (kinda overlaps with the "go foe the backline" point though)
The jungler??? Look at my games. I get blamed by solo laners when they get ganked. Im supp main. Even when enemy supp aint even there and he just gets 2v1 without ward vision. Yayyy
The two options: 1. Blame the Jg and be toxic 2. Figure out how to solve a problem on your own But what if i said there was a third option? 3. "Hey Jg, I'm getting real pressured in lane so if i could get a few more ganks that'd be awesome and help me a ton" its a crazy idea but, you can actually communicate with your jungler without being toxic. Of course, if the jg says no, see option 2
I Decided to jump straight into a game after watching this. needless to say our cupid was still building devo stacks at 30 minutes, and sobek built 4 damage items while trying to flame the carry. Some things can't be fixed I guess.

Tip 10 is the most important. Being toxic to your team is just diminishing your odds of winning. Staying level headed is a winners mentality. It just makes the game less enjoyable for your entire team if everyone is just mad at each other. You have upped my solo game a ton. Thanks for the great content.

Right now the only gods I struggle against in solo lane is mulan and artio. Just can’t seem to out poke or position myself properly and end up just losing my lane. Been playing a few months now and have definitely improved but it’s those few matchups that break my mental fortitude playing against them 😅 appreciate this video man will definitely look to following these tips a bit more

Coming from a jungle main I love #10 the amount of times I get blamed for solo losing lane because of 1 gank is unreal then I feel the need to camp solo and all other lanes hurt because of it
5:30 Its weird how some players read the words "Solo Lane" and think it means "Jungler is my babysitter"-lane. Its called "Solo" for a reason. If Jungler is busy elsewhere or falling behind and needs to farm, Solo is the guy who is expected to survive on his own.
Yeah but sometimes, happens that their jungler ganks you for the 5th time, and then steals your blue for the 3rd time, an their support is also there in the solo lane making some mojitos for everyone, and the rest of your team is unable to apply any pressure anywhere else on the map, man, i aint taking no blames for that loss
@@1SI69 Yeah but even then you're expected to at least not feed. If the towers go, then the towers go, not the end of the world. Its the teamfights where its fine for Solo lane to start dying a lot as long as he did his job in the teamfight and prevented enemy backline from playing the game.

I need this after doing bad in a casual solo match. I'm afraid of being aggressive in solo when it's different in the other roles lol and usually when i get farmed and under level i panic then give up and down grade myself from how bad I an Then forget there's always late game
I disagree with the not blaming your jungle. Too many times have I had a jungle come in solo and feed. Too many times have I had a jungle not counter gang whatsoever.

Ganks are nice, but if the jungler is doing a good job elsewhere then I am fine not getting them. I have had games where I lost hard in solo and we still ended up winning because while I wasn't getting ganks the other lanes were and getting mid or dou ahead is more impactful when as a solo lane player you can just play back and farm to end game.
The best tip i can give for solo is : try to delay your pick if u are first in pick and ban phase Having a winning match up in lane or being able to counter either the adc or the mid is such a blees
Depends on the fight, your build, your char and your Supps char. If you have yemoja for example you want to jump the back line, if you have a terra you should peel for your back line
Lol literally swapped to mostly playing solo from jungle partially because of the blame. Also because I enjoy the role of course. Though I still jungle a lot.
how to solo : 1. pick tyr 2. clear the wave 3. get poked 4.heal 5. vel even tho tyr doesn't laugh 6. go to therapy seek help 7. uninstall the game 8. get laid 9. return to smite and pick Achilles this time 😉

The single best tip anyone can have is to stop blaming your team. It does nothing. Rather than saying why didn't my team rotate, say what could I have done to be aware of the lack of a rotation. Your team might be 0-25 but you can't control that. Focus on you.
How do you play against a cu chulain in lane? I was playing Odin and got bullied all game. Im not a great solo laner but I didn’t feed. The man was just doing what he wanted in lane tho
“Don’t blame the jungler.” Bad junglers can hurt solo immensely by not counter ganking. So often do I get tower dive ganked by a Mercury ult and then a mulan. Multiple times in a row, absolutely destroying any chance to farm or box. While jungle farms white camps. So yes, blame your jungler. Good junglers rotate to counter gank, and pay attention
Rule 10 is causing me to break rule 9 against my will. An unholy amount of junglers love to calculate the optimal time of when to drop blue so that I can’t get xp until I’m down 2 levels from blue buff diff
As a solo imo, I recommend just dropping everything you're doing and go to the blue, also tbh as a solo most of my blues they don't even make it in time cause I'm on it more than they are so idk what you're doing that delays your blues. Keep it on cooldown above everything a wave can come in 10 secs, a blue takes 2 mins.

And make sure to let the scoreboard go immediately after pressing tab. This will help with the mana sustain and reduce crit damage
