My brother actually had Kirby Tilt'n Tumble when we were younger, but after like a year the tilt sensor stopped working and the game became unplayable.

According to my version of Google Translate, Kirby no Kirakira Kizzu was roughly translated to, “Kirby Twinkle Kids.”

Wikipedia says that it translates to Kirby's Sparkling Kids, which isn't really different, but that's what think of it was for that reason. It's also the name the Game Boy version had, since this is meant to be an enhanced port; the only reason I find that interesting is that most people probably don't know that (that's how it often is for obvious reasons), and since the fan community gave it the name Kirby's Super Star Stacker, most people who are aware of this game might assume that it has a different name from the Game Boy version in Japanese, when it doesn't, not that I can see that misconception catching on when most people probably never heard of this game (come to think about it, I don't think a lot of people know about Star Stacker at all).
@@TheMGMfan Actually, the reason They call it SUPER Star Stacker is likely the same reason that we have SUPER Mario Kart or SUPER Castlevania IV: Because of the console.
Also, you cannot trust the american game names really. For example, Kirby's Adventure was remade as Nightmare in Dream Land, even though A) It's a remake of Adventure and B) Its name in Japanese reflects that (Kirby of the Stars: Dream Fountain's Story is the name of K'sA and Kirby of the Stars: Dream Fountain Deluxe is the name of KNiD).

Kirby Super Star was remade as Super Star Ultra but the Japanese names are almost the same (Kirby of the Stars: Super Deluxe = original SNES, Ultra Super Deluxe = DS remake)

HEY IT IS HOLY CRAP.
As Antdude explains in the video, Kirby's Avalanche (and in spirit Mean Bean Machine) are the non-Japanese versions of Puyo Puyo 1. Mean Bean is Puyo Puyo for the Genesis, while Avalanche is Puyo Puyo for the SNES (even though it released after Puyo Puyo Tsu was released in Japan, lol). Hopefully I cleared it all up for you. ;-)
I think that Kirby's at his ballsiest in Avalanche. You meet Whispy Woods and he advises you not to step on his root. Kirby deliberately does so, saying that he's in the mood for apple pie (which, fun fact, is Canadian). You meet Mr. Shine and Mr. Bright. Kirby boasts that he thrives by day and night and that he'll defeat them.

Great video! I would've mentioned the fact though that the Super Famicom version of Star Stacker/Kirakira Kids is by far the hardest to find and most expensive Kirby game out there, so most people wouldn't just go looking for it :D
Kirby's Block Ball has one of my favorite Game Boy soundtracks. Its boss theme is far more intense than anything you'd expect to hear in an Arkanoid clone.

Feels bad that people barley know about Puyo Puyo, I know I should've expected it but I still wish some people did some research other than linking it directly to Mean Bean Machine.
(Poyo Poyo? Is that how people really pronounce it? I always pronounced it PU-Yo PU-Yo/Pouh Yo Pouh Yo)
I discovered Puyo Puyo back in 2014 while watching some japanese videos, I loved it so much that it's probably my top 1 videogame franchise
Q I got so confused when I saw them on the title card.
that's because in the America the only Puyo Puyo games that came out are Puyo Puyo 2(which was only in arcades in America), Puyo Puyo Tetris(which came to America THIS year), and Puyo Puyo(which is in the sega classic collection which came out in 2015).
Alta Parks I already know about that, except for the arcade Puyo Puyo, honestly there really wasn't any need to tell me all of this information. With most of Puyo Puyo's games basically being Japan exclusive and the gameplay sometimes being within other games, it's obvious as to why people barely know about it. Sorry if I come off as rude, but thanks for the comment anyways.
For the record, you are pronouncing it correctly! Pu (ぷ) is ALWAYS pronounced that way.
I guess people are just too attached to Kirby's poyo.
Actually the single player gameplay in Dream Course is a lot of fun, its just REALLY hard

Gryll is weird because she shows up a lot in little cameoes throughout the series (she even gets a place on the puzzle picture of all the final bosses in Star Allies and a spirit in Smash Ultimste) despite the fact that unless you're a Kirby trivia nerd you're not going to know who she is.
Also the Observors show up as a sticker in Planet Robobot so there's that.
So, I looked back at 4:29, and I noticed something. That moment looked oddly familiar, so I went and looked, and I was right, he used a clip of The Runaway Guys playing this game. Well, thats odd.

I loved Kirby's Avalanche as a kid, and all the Kirby enemy names always remind me of that game. My favorite was "Squishy." :)

There is no difference. Okay, the story is a little different and more levels. But no new mechanics
Minrod Vils many of the enemies act differently and there are like 200 new levels and it's super hard so I think it's unique enough to be covered plus it took like 2 years to make or something

I didn't know there were this many Kirby spin-off games. Tilt N' Tumble looks pretty cool especially considering that it used motion controls before they were a thing.

Kirby's dream course is awesome, the Grumps had a great time playing it and it looked like a ton of fun lol. People even made a fan game with hundreds of new levels and Grump-themed skins. Really cool

Interesting thing about the Kirby Tilt and Tumble on the game boy advance player for the Gamecube: A guy at the 2017 AGDQ actually did a speed run with a Mario DDR mat and the Gamecube in his hands. Put in a really respectable time too, considering the odd controls.

Kirby Star Stacker was one of my favorite Game Boy games. I don't even remember it having an endless mode, it was a bunch of individual puzzles.
I think Nintendo mostly have ideas that they're not sure will work and they just throw it on Kirby XD

Panel de Pon aka the first Puzzle League is now living on in Animal Crossing series as it's Puzzle League. They even made Lip's ( the girl in 6:09 ) outfit in New Leaf thanks to the Welcome Amiibo update. And her Flower wand has made an appearance in Smash Bros. The outfit is pretty popular and wanted in the community.
