    I'd recommend a top for the container, might help control the fumes. Nice tip with the tin foil. Glad your dad is doing better.

    Thanks for the tip on ungluing the glass on the side mirror. The ones on my car are all wonky and won't stay aimed correctly.

    I appreciate the effort. Excellent tips. Have to agree with the other comment, though. Too long. Just get to it.

      Thanks for the input. We are trying to make this more of a RUclips show rather than a TV show. We're shortening things up and tweaking as we go.

      That is an older video. Sadly pops passed in 2016. Not a day goes by I don't think about him.

      Autorestomod Manic Mechanic Gasoline Media oh my goodness- I should have looked at the date stamp. I had a good friend loose his father today (he is a Fox News anchor here in Los Angeles). Life is never the same when that happens. With that said - I truly believe he must be so proud of you and that you will see him again someday.

    Cool tip on the gas and front cutters. Video is double the length it needs to be though. Wish ya'lls family the best, I know it cant be easy.

      Well the video deals with three types of mirrors, we might have cut more out but other matters pressed hard so...

    Will a heat gun work to remove the mirror glass?

    • @AutoRestoMod
      @AutoRestoMod  2 года назад

      That honestly depends on the glue that they used. Sometimes the heat will end up just cracking the mirror.

    What about the non electric fox body side mirrors?

      Good idea Carlos! We'll try and scare up a FOX. The one we had to do stuff on went with our jib operator Dustin. We'll try and scare one up.

    Some jacka#%! Ripped off the passenger side mirror from my 71 Caprice. Is there a good aftermarket vendor for classic car mirrors??

      Thank you! I’ve spent so many hours online looking. Swap meets were my next step, so I like your solution :)
