Looks better than the demonstration cause attacks actually seem able to drain a good chunk of meter (sometimes) but still I'm also not a fan of the idea. But I also haven't played in a while tbf. Comments pretending its not just a few mechanics short of being Smash Bros shield are kinda braindead tbh. They literally pulled the out of shield options from Melee, Community manager was a Melee player, and the Guard break is just an admittedly lazy implementation of a grab. Its kinda obvious. But instead of some characters taking a stock on back throw you get a free combo. Its Smash Bros Shielding with only half the drawbacks that kept it from being the strongest defensive option. This looks like blocking a hit is more rewarding than not getting hit at all. Which is kinda wild logic.

People think every game has to be perfect to succeed... it takes time to make a good game, and they're taking feedback and making changes all the time. As a community, we should encourage them to keep going, not pull them down... but there are so many crybabies who take their frustration out on the game developers... it's sad; they're the ones making the game harder to promote.
