    I had the best ice pun to tell you… Problem is, it slipped my mind.

    Possibly you had a loose truck side panel and maybe your driver kicking things actually helped. Whatever, good for you 😂
    Good luck on your workout!

    If the truck has dual rear wheels and something gets wedged between the duals it'll drive like that. It makes both wheels out of balance. Maybe with all the kicking the driver dislodged it.

    One of the brake pads was dragging, but eventually freed-up and properly retracted.

    For decades my battle cry was ..."Up at 4 and out the door"... to sit on the 405 for 1.5 hours to be at work by 6 am...sucked big time. I finally moved far enough north where traffic was not an issue.

    It sounds like a seized brake calliper. The brake pad stuck and not released properly. Stopping could have reset it. Just a thought...

    Glad y'all fixed that truck... but I'm thinking the truck was sad you took off the busiest day of the year... then friday then saturday and was getting even with you. I was concerned your boss might take it out on you for not takiing some overtime the busiest week of the year but hopefully all's good.

    It sounds like your truck has a self cleaning air filter, they will have you pull over when they self clean

    Regarding the noise you heard: you hit 1 or some people with their bikes, who were left hanging on the truck and constantly bumping into it as you drove along. Didn't you read anything about this in the newspaper? The police are still looking for a truck in this case. :-)

    could have possibly had a brake stuck, setting the brakes stopping and then going it could have released it, i wonder how much the store pays for the bags of ice

    • @user-km7xp4vq5d
      @user-km7xp4vq5d Месяц назад

      Exactly. If your truck has airbrakes, perhaps the driver did not wait long enough for the air pressure to properly build up, and therefore the brake on one axle may not have fully released. But by stopping, applying the brakes, and walking around before restarting your journey, allowed enough time to build proper air pressure so that when released (to begin driving again), now the air pressure was sufficient to release each axle's brakes. You might notice some serious bald spots on your tires as a result. 😮😮😮😮

    The driver left the emergency brake on and he realized it and disengaged it without you noticing.

    *Stop immediately!!!!* Driving while on the phone, keeps driving until someone tells him to stop and look. Where is this place that hires such dangerous drivers? Yes probably brakes were on / locked !
