It's amusing watching a high end manufacturer do this - then seeing one of the Pakistani shops where you'd have a 12 year old kid holding a torch on some scrap metal while another kid beat on the head until it resembled a hex (etc etc!).

here in pakistan many facilities are not provided by government so we have to make a way and go beyond the imagination of people to get things done..........surprisingly we achive same quality by spending only few bucks why on the other hand they spend millions :p

As soon as the music starts I turn off. There are plenty of other similar channels without the music. What is the point of the music anyway? It's not part of the process.

The bolt material uses high-strength iron. The amount of heat treatment was not disclosed by the company. thank you member

This manufacture KPF's outsourcing company KPF is top-tier Fasteners manufacturer in Korea and worldwide.
Isn't heat treatment to harden them? if so why make the spirals after it?
By heating them again and cooling them slowly, it relieves the internal stresses created by forming the bolt when it was hot.
They showed at least three different bolts, so I don't think this accurately represents the whole process for any one bolt. But thread roll after heat treat is specified for some very highly loaded bolts. It increases durability and fatigue resistance by adding work hardening in the threads on top of the hardening by microstructure transformation by heat treat. However, it slows down production and chews up the thread rollers much faster, so it's very expensive.
It looks like they are tempering, which softens it.
Depend on rollig machine capacity. Hrc 38-42 can roll threading after heat treatment require rolling machine capacity, good dies and worker's skill
