The video is awesome Ram! Really enjoyed the trek and thanks again for taking such good care of us!! We can't wait to return to Nepal and do another trek with Mountain Ram Adventures!
+Sameer Ahmed Thank you so much for booking the trek with Mountain Ram Adventures. I got to meet you because you came with my company. It was really nice trekking with you. You guys were exceptionally nice people and your understanding level is very high. You were fine with all the conditions we had on the trek. I am amazed. Thank you again.
ALOHA (Hello) Ram, I just wanted to say thank you for making your videos. I am disabled and bedridden so I no longer can go hiking like I used to do. It was nice seeing all the places you go. It amazes me how Nepal and Hawai'i can look the same in some places. It's a small world! Thanks again for making these videos. To Ram and my RUclips Ohana (family) have a great day/evening. Take care, stay safe and don't forget to share your aloha spirit with another. GOD BLESS, - AuntyKeli ;-)
+Tashi Tsering Very good to hear that you have done this trek and Of course its difficult in February because of a lot of snow. I have done this trekking in all the different seasons so i know how difficult it is in February. It was difficult even this time too because of landslides and rain. Good thing is that locals are clearing the trail so it will be fine soon. Thank you for the comment :)
ram this is bful.i always come to your videos when im sick of this complicated city life.the purity in you brings a smile on my face everytime.thanks for ur wisdom.
Oh great. I am glad that you have seen my Langtang video too. By the way, there are many other videos of trekking in Nepal too, please check them too :) Hope you make it Nepal soon and we can meet in person. Please remember, i have a trekking company and i organize treks and tours in Nepal. Please don't forget to recommend people to me (my company Mountain Ram Adventures) :)
Very interesting. Rain days can mean a lovely day of rest. Trekking is hard but rewarding. The food along the treks is amazing but I am mindful to no be too choosy. What ever is the easiest for them or what is already being made. Use less fuel. I also like to stay in some places for 2 nights and walk a round looking for birds. Relax my sore feet.
can any one be tour guide or trek guide? because the way you guide tourist and the way you brief about place is very good,i think it is the best of you.
ohhh!..so then trekking there should not be during rainy days--and surely if u stayed overnight in that place where u supposed to be staying for the night instead of walking 4hours to next destination u hadn't bothered by that storm..but the good thing was locals' hospitality is alive and that u're with other trekkers--t'was still fun and good experience! ..GOD IS ALWAYS WITH YOU RAM..AND UR GROUP-- ..
Yeah, Julia, trekking in the rain is not so easy but it was not raining everyday and we could still see the mountain and get the hospitable people and most importantly, i like being in the nature where nothing distracts the peace of mind. Its always good to be in the nature. Thank you so much for the comment and likes :)
Yes, i am going to make the video of Tamang Heritage trekking trail too but first i am going to make the video of my Everest climb in this April, May. I will be trekking to all these trekking trails and making the videos one by one :)
hey brother.. your video was too good that we couldn't resist ourselves from visiting this place. In fact , we finally made it happen last week. The view was majestic n i guess it has turned out to be a lifetime experience. Your video has turned out to be a very good guide for our gang!! thank u so much brother n plz keep uploading such great videoes so that we get motivated to travel even more!!
Wow, Thank you so much for appreciating it. Glad that you made it to happen last week. I was also trekking in Langtang last week so i am going to upload my new video in few days. Hope you will like it too :) I can see that you are a trekking enthusiast :)
This is the right time to go to Gosainkunda trek but its not frozen. If you want to go when the lake is frozen, you better go in January or early february :)
Nice to hear that you are planning a trip to Gosainkunda. Anyway, its not sure when it snows but generally, it snows in the winter so maybe you want go in January or February :)
+Ram Sharan Upreti actually am a student dae and i live at kathmandu ... little bit of a travel enthusiast and learning from hajur haru jasto senior haru sanga andthanks for the welcoming gesture :) a true Nepali culture
+Ashish Adhikary I like the way you write, you sound well cultured. By the way, where and what do you study ? Anyway, let me know if you want any information about any treks in Nepal, i will be happy to share my experiences.
Hello sir😊 .. how r u? After we reached gosaikunda , is there a way in the middle that lead to langtang or we need to come all the way down to dhunche and syaphrubeshi?
There we soo much fog and clouds covering the view. 5:50 . Which month did you went? We are planning to go on Ashoj 23rd(tomorrow). How it would be like? And any tips before we travel ???
We are planning to go upto langtang village . Is it worthy ? And planning to trekk from sundarijal . . Tell me about costs *total cost upto langtang village :) .
Hi Khalifa, Thanks for the comment. Yes, Langtang is very nice trek and combining it with Gosainkunda and finishing it in Sundarijal is even better. Please write us email so we can sent you the cost and itinerary. You can find email on the description. Cheers, Ram
No, i have not got any altitude sickness yet but you never know when i will get altitude sickness. I hope not to get it. I like going slow so its less likely to get altitude sickness when do trek slow. This trek is not too fast climbing. Its normal itinerary. thanks for the comment :)
Hi Anjie, There is a bigger chance you see snowfall but we can't tell it 100% though. Mostly it snows in January and February but sometimes it snows in March and April too. So who knows, you might see snowfall :) Have a great trek. Wish you all the best :)
Yes, its safe to travel in early August but yes you have to be very careful while trekking because there is always a chance of landslides. Raining time is bit more risky to trek but its still possible if you are careful enough.
Sharan sir! I would like to visit Gosaikunda i'm staying in Rajbiraj, Saptari terai regional. Is there any process of documentation or training for trekking and can you suggest me how much expensese of this treak...
+Jitendra Sah Its good to hear that you are interested in visiting Gosainkunda. Being Nepali, you don't need to get any documents to go to Gosaikunda. You can take bus to dhunche which leaves from Machhapokhari, kathmandu and start trekking towards Gosainkunda. If you need any information, you are welcome to call me or message me. But if you wish to go through my company, please visit me at my office Mountain Ram Adventures at Thamel, Kathmandu.
Hi Smrity, Yes, you can go to Deurali 1st day , 2nd day Laurebinayak and thrid day to Suryakunda and farkina bhayauchha tara suraykunda gayera kaha samma farkine ho ? Laurebinayak bata Suryakunda garera gosainkunda farkine ho bhane ok but more that its too much. Its too risky too because its too high to walk too much. I would suggest you to go from Laurebinayak to Suryakunda (thats pass 4610m) and return to Gosainkunda for overnight stay. If you have any other thing in the mind, please feel free to call me, message me on facebook or write me or my company email. I will be happy to assist you in planning your trip. Ram
Very nice to hear that you and your friends are planning a trek to Gosainkunda. Let me know, i will be very happy to organize it. These are the items - • Waterproof jacket • jumper or pile jacket • Hiking shirts • Hiking pants • T - shirts • Full - sleeves shirt • Sun hat • Water bottle • Flash light • Batteries and bulbs • Swiss army knife • personal towel • Sun lotion • Rucksack • Sewing kit • Medical & first-aid kit • Trekking shoes/boots • Camp shoes • Polypropylene/wool socks • Gloves
Yeah, There is a route that you can do Langtang and gosainkunda at the same time but it will take few more days. Please check this link www.mountainramadventures.com/nepal/nepal-trekking/langtang-region/langtang-gosaikunda-trekking.html
What a beautiful video. I am going to walk the gosainkunda trek this october, can't wait. What kind of condition do you need for this trek? Where I live, there are no mountains, so my training is walking for hours and many miles. Thank you for this video, it helps me prepare.
Thank you so much for liking my video. I am glad to hear that you are doing this trek in October, i am sure you will have a great time. Moderate level of fitness will be fine. You don't need to be hardcore trekker to do this trek. Its kind of easy trek but remember you are going to walk long long up hills up to Gosainkunda and after you will be walking long long down hills :) By the way, if you haven't booked the trek yet, you can join our team from Mountain Ram Adventures. Mountain Ram Adventures is my company from where i orgnize treks, tours and climb :)
Thank you Ram. I already booked my trip. But I'm saving your video and adress in my favorites :). This will be my first trip to Nepal and I think and hope it won't be my last.
Hi ..., good to hear that you have booked the trek which means you are definitely coming to Nepal :) Glad that you are saving my video as your favourite. Let me know if you get time, we can meet up in Kathmandu before or after your trek. My address is Mountain Ram Adventures, Z-Street, Thamel, Kathmandu. Or you can even find me on facebook with my name :) I am pretty sure that it won't be your last trip to Nepal.
Hello Ram, thanks for asking. I had a wonderfull trek! It was the best time of my stay in Nepal. I loved the scenery, the mountains and the physical challenge. So there will definitely be a next time and a different trek :)
January and February for sure. But anytime it can snow on the mountain so i can't say exactly. When it rains on the lower altitude, it snows on the higher mountain areas.
Thank you for sharing this informative video dai ! Thinking of doing the gosaikunda trek myself. Would you recommend a mid-june trek to gosaikunda ? Mid june ma weather kasto huncha tyeha ko ? Hiu jameko/pareko dekhna paincha ?
+Ravi Thanks for liking the video :) It will be raining in June but you will see snow because it will snow on the higher altitude. I recommend trekking to Gosainkunda any time of the year but you just need to be prepared differently in different season.
We are planning to go there around first week of Ashoj. Will that be a good time? I mean will there be Hotel services available through out the whole trek? Only Gosaikunda trek.
Glad to hear that you are going to Gosainkunda trek in Ashoj. yes, its a very good time for trekking and yes, the hotels are available through out the whole trek. It will be bit busy though. Have a great trek :)
hy bro (mr ram) how r u? good to see u again with new video. bro i would like to ask about if we can go gosaikunda by 2 wheeler? and what is the condition of roads and how many days it will take to reach by 2 wheeler. n what about the cost? how much we have to take money?
Hi Sharma ji, i am fine, thank you. Nice to hear that you have seen my previous video too :) No, you can't reach Gosainkunda by 2 wheeler. You can take it to Dhunche and you have to walk for 2 days or 3 days to get to Gosainkunda. You can finish this trip in 5 or 6 days Kathmandu to Kathmandu. Please feel free to ask me anything :)
First day drive from Kathmandu to Dhunche and trek to Deurali, next day trek to Laurebinayak and then trek to Gosainkunda overnight. Another day you can trek down to Dhunche and last day drive back. So you can finish it 5 days but i would recommend you to have 6 days so you can do it bit easily.
Reza, thanks for the comment. January and February are the coldest months so it is the time for snowfall. But sometimes it snows till March and April too.
I think its possible, if you walk long hours. You can take early bus to Dhunche and trek to Chandanbari the same day and next day you go to Gosainkuda and back to Laurebinayak and the third day trek down to Dhuche starting very early in the morning and return to Kathmandu in the afternoon bus. But its will be very very difficult because it will be like marathon trek :)
Good morning sir. I was planning to go in Janai purnima. It would be around august end. How would weather be in that time? Plus I have heard that it's better to start from sundarijal side and return to dhunchhe side. Ani sir hajur le client liyera gako huna le ali badi time la hola, what would be the optimum time period for trekking starting from Ktm?
Its good that you are planning a trip to Gosainkunda in janai purnima. Weather normally great at that time. Actually, i like starting from Dhunche and finish in Sundarija. Yes, maile clients liyera gako hunale ali badi time lageko ho. You can do this trip in 6 days.
Hi Rayman, winter ma pani gosainkunda gaye hunchha tara dhunche ko bato bhayera janu hai. You never know if the pass is open or not in the winter so if you go from dhunche side, you can decide either to go over pass or not when you are at gosainkunda. You can ask with local when you are there.

Ram bro. can i get a full map to gosaikunda from ktm? thanks for your reply bro.
Ram Sharan Upreti what is the root from pokhara to gosaikunda detail plz n budget also , thank you
Damn this was amazing than I expected
Thank you so much :)
Dashain ma jada k kasto hola daju? Hotel haru paucha ni?
Its the best time to go there. You will be fine with everything. Hotel paucha. Have a good trek. Cheers !!!
What is the total cost for this trek
Please pm me for the costing.
My next trek Ram :)
Good :)
kun season ma gayo bhne snowfall hrna paincha dai ?
Reza, thanks for the comment. January and February are the coldest months so it is the time for snowfall. But sometimes it snows till March and April too.
Which month was this?
This was September :)
Ram Sharan Upreti Thank you, it appears it is a rainy season then :)
Yes, it was bit rainy :)
what could be the total expenses to travel in gosaikunda?
Hi Aman, feel free to add me on facebook so i can tell you more about the cost and other things using instant messages.
Ram Sharan Upreti bro fb ma friend banum na
What the Old name dhunche before 1965 and anymore villagers in near dhunche before 1965
If any this village name is there like karja dunki or another pruk side
dai can we go now in this time
Yes, Basanta, you can go now.
bro 3 days maa gayera farkina vyaaucha ???
I think its possible, if you walk long hours. You can take early bus to Dhunche and trek to Chandanbari the same day and next day you go to Gosainkuda and back to Laurebinayak and the third day trek down to Dhuche starting very early in the morning and return to Kathmandu in the afternoon bus. But its will be very very difficult because it will be like marathon trek :)
can i know about the vehicles like kata baata paaucha??
local vehicles
Per person kati cost lagxa
Nepali lai din ko dui hajar jati le pugchha
You can do this trip in 6 days.
ram sharan dai winter ma kuun route bata jhada thik huncha Gosaikunda
Hi Rayman, winter ma pani gosainkunda gaye hunchha tara dhunche ko bato bhayera janu hai. You never know if the pass is open or not in the winter so if you go from dhunche side, you can decide either to go over pass or not when you are at gosainkunda. You can ask with local when you are there.
thank u ram sharan dai for the information
You are welcome Raymon bhai :)
