Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I have both regular and the dx set! Love this figure!
I received this with a much better paint job on the face. I do love the silver webbing, not movie accurate but I've always preferred Toby Maguire's Spider-man suit the best with that vaguely silver webbing. I don't necessarily like the size of the bricks on the metal wall tho. Great review btw!
I've a younger brother, he's 8..... & he loves these sort of videos, especially SPIDER-MAN's toys & action-figures. And right now... again he's killing me to watch another one.

For me,I'm more into the DX set,idk maybe because the red paint on the figure is dissapointing right of the back,so i will definitely go with the DX if I have more money tho with more cool accessories.
With only the magnetic hands and feet are already making set worth,plus they give andrew garfield head,skateboard and etc that's just a loot man.
I wonder if you could somehow strengthen the magnetics in the hands and feet if you rub a stronger magnet on them. You know, like those elementary school science projects. I feel like if those were stronger, it'd open up a lot more options of possibility. It sort of looked like that end pose had to keep the magnets relatively close to each other to keep him stable. Aside from all that, nifty review. I'd most likely pick this figure up if I was getting back into the world of 6inch collecting again. He comes with hella accessories and that's always a plus!
Been displaying my Mafex Homecoming Spidey on the "wall", it kinda reminds me of The Washington Monument. So imo it looks really good. Also the the big web looks really good with a Spider-Man figure standing or crouching on it. But I do recommend cutting the suction cups off.

Right on with this Shartimus. Never been a fan of Mayfex and this video reinforces that, but I do give em an A for effort.
The Spidey figure itself is the main draw and best part of the set.

Great review Shart! agree with you, easily a pass but I got mine way back in January and 2 days later the magnets on both feet popped out! had to superglue them back in....MAFEX biggest weakness is their alt heads I'd say, The Joker smiling face too looks terrible....other than that I love this toyline actually haha
The marvel legends Pizza -Party Spidey is the best out there now. IT doesn't feel like a ML to me. Like at all, it's so good.

Lol nope. Out dated "Mcfarlane" and Sinister six Spidey are over rated, overly priced garbage. "Mcfarlane" Spider-man is too tall, and looks emaciated as hell. Oh and those ball joints. Junkie as all hell painting too.
Well, I only take the first Mafex spider-man as being better only because it is made better. But good luck finding it at a reasonable price now.
This new spidey is terrible. The metallic shit paint ruins what could have been a bad ass figure. The secondary head sculpt is crap. Looks like a knock version. Magnets don't work properly. If they couldn't do it right why bother. It is decent at best.
So for fun factor, Look, and Price, Rape-face Spidey is the best bet.

As an idea for the foot detaching problem why don't you put the foot at an angle meaning bend it down until the peg points straight down and pull the foot off as an idea
The webbing only sticks on the back of the magnetic wall
Is the joints wobbly on this one like the regular version. Mine has a wonky shoulder and knee. Other than that he's perfect.. Wondering if he has loose joints as well..
At least, this one is better than pizza spidey. And nothing compares to Toybiz spider man figures as Mcfarlane, sinister, snapshot versions so far.

I prefer the Pizza one although this one comes with a crap ton of accessories.

I prefer the Legends. Might not be better than the select, but I personally like the look of Mark Ruffalo Hulk.

I bought this one on eBay not too long ago from a seller claiming it was opened but the figure was never displayed. When I got it, I was happy to have the figure especially with all of its accessories but the figure itself was really loose. It looks like his right butterfly joint was super glued and his left butterfly joint is really loose. Any advice on how to restore these types of figures?

Caelan Dawe both figures are awesome but i would say go for the marvel legends not bec mafex is bad its just marvel legeds is cheaper but it has all the basic stuff that a cool spiderman figure should have like the articulation, swapable hands you even get an extra head and a pizza slice

Mafex figures are top notch man. It's their qc they gotta get under control which they are but still. If it does break you could just get replacement parts from where you ordered and theres ways to prevent breakage.
