good amplifier options for your DS18 PRO-GM6B 6.5" midrange car speaker could be the JL Audio JX400/4D 4-Channel Car Amplifier, Rockford Fosgate R400-4D 4-Channel Amplifier, or the Alpine MRV-F300 4-Channel Amplifier
Nice video bro and btw cool truck you have.. I have a question ‘ it’s my first time installing a sound system to my truck I already have the kicker amp connected to my subwoofer 10’ , and I also have 4 6’s kicker for my front and rear.. but they sound kinda bad.. at high volume.. do I need a voice amp for those 4 speaker ? Or can they be connected to my kicker amp ?
Hey bro so I jus bought 2 ds18s 6×9s 2 ds18 6.5s and 2 super tweeters..can I hook them all to the amp??sum one said I couldn't I'd have to buy another amp for my tweeters...I have the skar rp 1000 4channel ab amp
Hell yea bro definitely a must to add an amp to these speakers because hooking em up to the radio does them no justice. Also be better to run bigger speaker wires from speakers directly to the amp.
So I have a question brotha? By the way beautiful truck man. Definitely going to like and subscribe. Question: if You connect the door speakers to the amp and so happen the amp was to be removed or off can you still playing music threw the Stereo?
Thank you appreciate it. And It depends how you wire up the speakers I ran new wire from the speakers directly to amp. So if I remove the amp. I would now need to wire from speaker to radio. But if you decide to use the original speaker wiring you would just have to run em back to radio is all.
@@differentgarageprojects5656 that could work but your stereo doesn't have the power to run those ds18 it will shut off your system completely and put it in safe mode until you restart the radio ..and if you do that you will only be able to play music on very low volume
4ohms are going to be louder but sound quality starts getting worse. So the lower the ohms the sound isn’t going to be all that great. Besides you will have to find an amp that can power the 4ohms. Which is hard to find. Unless you want to spend some good money on a couple of amps.
Damn I have a pre amp on my dsm 18s 6 1/2 thay are loud as shit..I recommend the ds18..good job bro love the channel
what amp you got bro ? I’m thinking about getting some ds18s too.
Get taramps

What abt a CT 150.4D/1000 rms

Sounds good keep up the great work brotha 👌🔥💯
Thanks brotha. 💯
thanks man very helpful!!
Nice set up.. I need some help with mine.
You should post a quick video of your stereo settings
Your ds18 6.5 were they the 8 ohm ones or the 4?

Thanks. And U need a voice amp.
Could you just run the wire to the speakers wired going into the head unit and tap in?
Yea this is only if you’re trying to get the maximum potential out of the speakers
Has the ds18s been holding up well?
Pretty good no issues with them
Sounds good to meee
What that song call The one in the intro being of the video

I’m assuming you need a different amp for your tweeters. I did a lot of research on my set up. I’m not a professional by any means.
A lot of factors go into place how many watts per channel how many ohms are you planning on running? It all comes down to your amp.
Did the amp make those ds18 bump a bit better?
Yea you cab definitely tell a difference in sound quality.
Nice! I've been looking to add some sound to my single cab lol

@@differentgarageprojects5656 thanks bro! I'm definitely gonna look into it! Keep them videos coming bro!
Hell yea. Lmk if u have any questions. Thanks brotha 🤙🏼

Just want to make sure if I was to remove a amp I can still play music

So technically the amp is very necessary in this set up no matter what ...or else you have to down grade to a lesser wattage speaker
Did you connect 1 negative from the right side and the left side together and put them on the negative amp or how did you do it ?
Yea pretty much
@@differentgarageprojects5656 if I wanna add subwoofers do I add another amp and wire it up to the distribution blocks ?
@@CristianGarcia-dn5fm yes thats the way to do it
Did you connect the speaker wire on the negative or positive side of the speaker
What you mean?
@@differentgarageprojects5656 are the speakers directly wired to the amp or is it going to the radio and the amp
@@abel_ea8631 Oh OK gotcha they’re wired up directly to the amp. So from the speaker to the amp.
Do you think is better to get 4ohms speakers or the 8 ohms how you got

why did you not lift wire it to the battery
Not much room for the wire there. Besides I didn’t have the propper bolt for batt if I decided to go that route
Bro why couldn’t you’ve done this earlier 🤣🤣 I spent like 300 for installation 😞😭😭🤣
Dam thats alot bro. What all did they do? And my bad lol wish i could of done it sooner. 😐
that much bro?
Now all you need is a sub amp.
Yes it does. Soon
