Lyrics:
I am the bread of life.
You who come to me shall not hunger;
and who believes in me shall not thirst.
No one can come to me
unless the Father draw him.
And I will raise him up, and I will raise him up,
and I will raise him up on the last day.
The bread that I will give
is my flesh for the life of the world,
and you who eats of this bread,
you shall live for ever,
you shall live for ever.
And I will raise him up, and I will raise him up,
and I will raise him up on the last day.
Unless you eat of the flesh of the Son of Man
and drink of his blood,
and drink of his blood,
you shall not have life within you.
And I will raise him up, and I will raise him up,
and I will raise him up on the last day.
I am the Resurrection. I am the Life.
You who believes in me even though you die,
you shall live for ever.
And I will raise him up, and I will raise him up,
and I will raise him up on the last day.
Yes, Lord, I believe that you are the Christ,
the Son of God, who has come
into the world.
And I will raise him up, and I will raise him up,
and I will raise him up on the last day.

What a beautiful comment! Thank you Abraham. God bless you. 🙏
The most inspirational and meditational! Unique and catholic centric, drawing indeed individuals like us who are sinners ❤nearer to Christ Jesus, the son of man!
Amen
Praise the Holy Eucharist, the Holy Trinity, and the Holy Theotokos! Amen. Amen.
Fabulous song!
My favorite hymn. The last two verses always move me. The mystery that The Lord would do this for even just one of us, yet also for all.
How lovely! Thanks @definitelynotsarcasm 🙏
My favorite hymn! Our Lord's True Presence in His Scarament of Love brings tears of joy to my eyes!
Streaming tears for me over my wife's passing whenever played !
There can be no greater message of hope for Christians, that is found in this incredibly inspired song; "And I will raise him up on the last day." For believers, there really is no death, but eternal happiness with God.
I get chills up and down ❤
Just beautiful, bar none! To God be the glory
Forever, Amen! Thank you for your lovely comment and encouragement. Our prayers go with you.
Beautiful version EM, keep up the great work! God bless! 🙏
Beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you @watermain48. God bless you
🙏
Thanks, Cathy!
If you sing the old original version the verses say 'He who believes in me' then the chorus is 'And I will raise him up' to keep the grammar correct so it follows I guess that if the verse says 'You who come to me'the chorus should be 'And I will raise you.up'
Absolutely beautiful one of my favorites! Your voices are angelic!!
Such a lovely comment. Thank you @craftymagnets. One of our favourites too! 🙏
Jesus IS
John Hartley Jordan song
Very nice rendition but I thought the refrain was "and I will raise you up?"
You may well be right, Cathy! I'm looking at my hymn book which reads 'raise him up' - yet I went to a service this week which sung 'raise you up'. I'm definitely confused .... so have changed the wording in the instrumental version being uploaded today. Thanks for your feedback, Cathy. God bless 🙏
@@EmmausMusic - I think its to do with being "inclusive" with a degree of "PC." Quite a few of our hymns lyrics have also been changed over the past few years...
Please do change too, that same wording:.. "raise you up" definitely is what it should be. Thanks. I do think such expresses well our Faith in the Holy Eucharist. God bless us all.
Thank you very much,@@nenarodriguez5354. We’ve got it on the list to re-sing! Will get into it soon. God bless. 🙏
@@EmmausMusicraise him up is original lyrics from John gospel please let it be as it is. It will dilute the true essence of the composers work.
