I’ve had this module for years and at times it was frustrating to play. This past year I finally read the manual and that increased my enjoyment of this module. However, your video takes me to a level that the manual did not. You gave audible samples and demonstrated actual synthesis techniques. Bravo! Thanks for your demo.
Beautiful module, very well explained - won't sell mine, unfortunately it is not in production anymore. I utilize it for dup step chords, for instance. Prices for second hand Make Noise Telharmonic modules are rising. So grab one, if you are interested...
Great demo. I’ve learned the teleharmonic is a very deep, and can be tricky to tame. But as you throw it around a bit, you will have earned a unmatched tone that is quite unique and beautiful.
Do you still own this module or did you move on from it? Did you ever check out the 4ms Ensemble Oscillator? If so, do you have a preference? Thanks in advance for any response!
yes i still owe and use the telharmonic. the interface is really unique and works great with minimalistic or unusual cv sources and / or in very small setups. with the ensemble osc. i don´t have so much experience, so i can´t really compare. but the interface / process is to progress chords is very different, i´d say "classic" progressing is easier with 4ms, telharmonic is more experimental
Thx for the video dominik. i know the tonic set the pitch. but how can i set the telharmonic to not to hear the constant ton? i mean like v/oct ?? i mean this is a 3 vopice synth and should have a built in vca right? i pluged in my keystep pro and can play the pitch, but as soon as i stop i still hear the constant signal. so how to set that right??
thank you :) you indeed need a VCA and Envelope/ADSR or better a multichannel VCA to play the voices rhythmic - like a common VCO, just 3 of them. for one channel you can utilize the telharmonics gate out. i use Veils most of the time.
@@DominikVogelModular vielen dank. ja ich habs herausgefunden.Ich war mir so sicher, dass telharmonich ein eingebaute vca hat. egal. ich liebe ihn trotdem!!
@@DominikVogelModular Thank you for the answer. I have couple of ears mostly for bass or snare. and as I understood, is to connect gate output from ears to telharmonic ?

thank you for the kind comment! I´m very glad I could help a bit :)

you have a beautiful voice. Thanks for the demo!
thank you very much :)
Seconded regarding the voice. You should do voice-over work! 😉
@@redlester thank you :)
Best explanation of the Telharmonic so far! 😊 You should consider weiting „explanation“ in the video title to get more people ro see this!
thank you :)
Thanks for the clear and thoughtful demo of this inspiring module!
I have the 4ms Ensemble Oscillator which is kind of similar but different. Doesn't stop me wanting one of these as well!
nice, I´m interested in the ensemble osc for quite a while
I have the Ensemble and I was thinking the same thing.
Haha same here. I had to pause the video halfway through and go mess around with my Ensemble Oscillator.

Nice demo. Thanks!
Great content. Sound crispy. What mic are you using?
thank you sir! :) I´m using the blue microphones "ember"

What do you have going to the interval control?
at 8:25 stepped CV, at 9:00 clock / gates
Could I trigger the parameters with piezo mics on drums?
I think you would need to convert the mic signal into gates or triggers first, f.ex. with a module like ears or some envelope follower

@@ElvisHoman yes the D-Gate and H-Lock Inputs accept gates
@@DominikVogelModular Thank you a lot ! will try it later today ! :)
@@DominikVogelModular Hi Dominik, would you recommand an effective patch for switching between the chords?
Damn, such a rich and pretty sound :o
But fairly expensive :/ Well, Modular xD
