Simply sit in defensive crouch, and the second he can't DHC, ducking hp. He lands on it, and you can cancel to rocket punch to HSF and combo off it. This is a bit of a gamble, but sometimes you can ducking hp when using Sentinel if you aren't pinned, and disrupt the AHVB while he's trying to kill your assist with it. It's hard to spot this, and Cable might not be paying attention. The only real hint that he's doing this is if you watch Sentinel's mouth and / or shoulders. If the shoulders expand, and or he opens his mouth, he's doing ducking hp. Anytime he AHVBs and Sentinel isn't put in block-stun by the AHVB as it ends depending on the height he's at it's a good idea to do this. A dirty trick you can do while AHVB-ing a Sentinel's assist is to tap down, mash as hard as you can, and shift the beam up hard enough to take Sentinel out of block-stun, and tap down near the end of the AHVB. Wash, rinse, repeat. If at any time the Sentinel's mouth opens and his shoulders expand, tap down early, and now you're shooting them both. I actually did this in a tournament and the gasps of shock were entertaining.
IF the opponent's assist is point-blank to you when using Storm, use Dhp instead of standing hk. Although the range is very bad, if the assist is on it's feet and point-blank, it hits faster than the standing hk. Duc and Viscant tried to AHVB someone using ducking hp to launch an assist, and they couldn't do it once. I've AHVB'd a standing hk from Storm once. Very hard, but I did it [mostly by fluke...].
I never realized megamans anti air assist is so good. Storm sent megaman can be used like thrax or matrix and megaman fights better than commando and just as good as cyclops. Fun to watch.

It may not be the best assist but boy when MM does shoryuken, it’s range reach is almost similar as cyke’s jean splice range
