Great stuff! Folds of Honor is a remarkable organization that does incredible work supporting those military families who deserve and need our help. Thanks for everything you’re doing to support their mission!!
I’m not sure how in-depth you are planning on going with this series but I personally would love to see as much nitty gritty stuff as possible, designing the cage, front suspension, rear suspension, how you figure out motor and tranny placement, how you make the stock gm harness work after moving it to a new vehicle, etc. I’ve always dreamed of building a trophy truck/prerunner and taking it to the Baja but my engineering background is lacking 😅
That is my plan. I think I will give a preview of what I am doing next on each video so people can ask to see certain things before I make the video. Thanks for watching.
I was wondering that too. I was able to flash the VATs out. I don’t think anything reports the VIN to the computer, so I was just going to use it with the VIN it had from the vehicle it came from on EBay. It might work considering the were the exact same trucks except for one being 4WD.
Glad to see this video pop-up on my feed! I vote for Trucky McTruck Face!
I’m with Jesse - HONCHO and Lefty!

Just found your channel. Great stuff! I love your hobbiest engineering skills!!
Great video, Been waiting for this build for awhile now... Keep them coming and thank you!!!!
Thanks for watching
Can’t wait for the Mint 400!!!
Great Video and looking forward to watching and maybe getting out there to help.
I wish I had this kind of knowledge and space to work on such a project. Jealous.
Awesome as always! Looking forward to seeing the engine start!!
Me too

You should name it Lefty. So you have Honcho and Lefty.
SOB - Why didn’t I think of that! Nice.
How the hell does this guy only have 11k subs
I’d love to know what you’d estimate you used steel wise on honcho. Like how many feet of tubing, how much plate, etc.
I will try to see if there is a sum function on BendTech.
The ebay ECU might be VIN locked to the vehicle it was removed from and you’ll have to buy a new one from the dealership with no VIN programmed in.

I wish i was working for you
Where is the rest of the build video of this ?????
Working on it. Had to pause videos to complete it in time for the Baja 1000.
