  • In our last video we built the roll cage for our trophy truck named Lefty. This time you will watch me design the front of the chassis using a suspension geometry calculator from Race Aspirations, Fusion 360 and BendTech.

Always inspiring to watch your videos! I learned a lot from previous videos that helped me as I was finishing design, bending, and coping the tubing on the chassis I am working on. Thank you!!!

Great video. Got the Bend Tech 17 years ago and upgraded it twice now and love it. I use it about one a year and it’s always a hard time wrapping my head around it so videos like your helps tremendously. And your cheating coping with a Dragon!😂.

Just finishing up the build now. The Bend-Tech software and Dragon 400 are worth every penny.

    Thank you so much.
I've been planning a build for the past year gathering parts and what not. Always felt uneasy because no one has taught me how to design a chassis. I know the principles, but with virtually very little constraints on the rest of the design, I felt lost and was guessing a lot. This helped so much.

It was SAE Minibaja that got me into this stuff.

This is great info. Because of the angle of the shock at full bump, the suspension valving is going to be super REGRESSIVE in the upper parts of the travel instead of being PROGRESSIVE. Meaning the valveing will be getting weaker as you get close to bottomed out...... Which isnt good... Loveing these vids. Excited to see how this unfolds

At the bottom left window search field, you can type "snip it." You can snip the area you want on the screen and save it. I think you can save as png from here.
