Cardiff Triathlon 2023 - The Legend Relay

Hello everyone, welcome to ‪@RecoveryLabTV‬
This past weekend I was lucky enough to be able to race the ‪@alwaysaimhighevents7942‬ #CardiffTriathlon Legend (70.3) distance as a part of a relay team with one of my friends, Alex.
As many of you already know, I am racing all seven of the ‪@ironmantriathlon‬ events here in the UK & Ireland for the #mentalhealth charity #Rock2RecoveryUK. The Cardiff Triathlon was a last minute decision as I am also racing this weekend in Bolton for the #IronmanUK race, my first full distance race this season. However, because I am fundraising and want to raise as much as possible for the charity, I didn't want to turn the opportunity down.
For this race I completed the swim and the bike sections of the race course and my friend Alex, stepped up to the plate. Helping me with the run section, despite having completed no previous training.
To which I would like to say a huge thank you to Alex for stepping up, Linda for organising the race, my family for their love and support (as always), and my friends for their support as well. Lastly, all of you, my online community, I appreciate you more than you could imagine. You've allowed me to reach a wider audience and have helped me feel that I am serving my purpose each and everyday. I hope I can equally help you with your journey in return, whether that's with inspiration, motivation and/or education.

It's got so much better over the years, it's been really great to see. Especially seeing it as a local. You should come and check it out next year!
