Omg when first started with Phil I was what in the hell I thought it was so hard but the more I kept it up I really started to enjoy it, I lost so much weight just doing the basics so for myself that's all I needed and still continue to do the same one like three days a week let's go queens we got this!!
Barely hanging when I did it the first time....very sedentary lifestyle~the key is to "don't stop, don't quit, don't stop...why? we got to live!!!" Push through the confusion, the temporary pain, the doubt, the haters, the sweat puddling in every place, just keep going! I promise each time you return, it will be just a touch easier. Let's go!!!!
Have you seen another video for basic intermediate moves? I can't find any additional post. Well.....I did but it was advance and because it wasn't basic training I was loss

@@jackiestewart5298 it just depends on what you're comfortable with. Many start with the minimal height of the step and graduate up as needed.

I am messing up left and right trying to learn these moves too and it doesn’t help that I’m not a dancer and lack rhythm too. Buuutttt I am going to do this video over and over until I get it.

Phil!!! Once again you are da man!!! Although I feel like I got the basic steps down this was a great addition to my week and I shared with with my mom who has been learning them. It helped me get to the 47 lbs mark this week. Keep doing what you are doing because you are changing the lives of those touch and we are grateful🙏🏽

I just came across your channel... I'm in my 60's at first glance I was intimidated to even try, but when you said "WE GOTTA LIVE" I was able to go 28 minutes in. I will keep going til I can get thru the entire workout. Thank you so much for sharing here!!

Thank you for doing this! 2.5 years ago I started my journey back to a healthy lifestyle. I lost 75 pounds. 18 months ago I fell on ice and sustained a back and neck injury and a concussion that resulted in a brain injury. It stopped everything in my life. 1 month ago I started this video. I have balance and coordination issues so I don't use a step. Yet. Today I was finally able to get through the whole video start to finish. Even though I may have been backwards or off time. I have been watching your videos for ehat seems for forever. 1 day I will use a step. 1 day I will be able to follow one of your regular videos. For now this is my pace. Thank you for breaking it down. 💜

Do you find it hard to do this without a step? I also have balance issues and would love to do this
I am just starting. I am 73. I don’t find it all that hard to do the workout w/o a step which is on order. The hardest part is keeping up. On days when I feel a little slow, I can slow the speed to .75, but when you do that, the workout takes longer, sooo I won’t do that too often. Really enjoying this music and the high energy level. I also try to do a few minutes every day at work. After a week I am already feeling less stiff! I am going to get healthy . . . . . God bless

I have been watching his videos for a while unfortunately I didn't take a class or purchase a video. Then earlier this year I fell and I hurt myself pretty bad. My best friend and I started this a month ago Mon-Fri and we were tired after just a few minutes for a good two weeks. Now we start at 18:26 for our warm up then transition to the easy stuff....Keep going everyone! It gets easier. Thank you Phil!

Finally a breakdown!
This is my step go-to video! I hit a plateau and wasn’t making progress until I started this workout. I’ve done it 6 days in a row and have lost a pound each day (changing nothing else)! Excited to keep it going 🙌🏼

My girlfriends and I have started a virtual fitness class every morning at 6am before the kids get up for school. We've been trying to get the steps and working only side of the beginner's video, this one is the best because it really breaks the steps down and allow you to follow along without feeling lost.
