    After battling debilitating depression for years and trying every medication on the market, nothing has helped me like Phil and his workouts. When I hear him say, "Don't stop, Don't quit", I feel like he is talking to me and pushing me to fight for my life. He is truly an inspiration.

    Omg when first started with Phil I was what in the hell I thought it was so hard but the more I kept it up I really started to enjoy it, I lost so much weight just doing the basics so for myself that's all I needed and still continue to do the same one like three days a week let's go queens we got this!!

    Barely hanging when I did it the first time....very sedentary lifestyle~the key is to "don't stop, don't quit, don't stop...why? we got to live!!!" Push through the confusion, the temporary pain, the doubt, the haters, the sweat puddling in every place, just keep going! I promise each time you return, it will be just a touch easier. Let's go!!!!

      @@jackiestewart5298 it just depends on what you're comfortable with. Many start with the minimal height of the step and graduate up as needed.

    So this is Day 1 of my battle and I'm telling you I couldn't get all the steps and I messed up ALOT...BUT God willing I'll be back doing this again tomorrow. Wish me luck.

      How is it going for you KeAndra Ceesay? This is my first attempt and I can hang physically but
      I am messing up left and right trying to learn these moves too and it doesn’t help that I’m not a dancer and lack rhythm too. Buuutttt I am going to do this video over and over until I get it.

    I've been doing this workout for a few weeks now. I made it through the whole video and only had to stop once!! I'm drenched!! I'm going to keep doing this until I can do it with no breaks at all!! Part 2 let's goooooo!!!

    Phil!!! Once again you are da man!!! Although I feel like I got the basic steps down this was a great addition to my week and I shared with with my mom who has been learning them.     I just came across your channel... I'm in my 60's at first glance I was intimidated to even try, but when you said "WE GOTTA LIVE" I was able to go 28 minutes in. I will keep going til I can get thru the entire workout. Thank you so much for sharing here!!

    Thank you for doing this! 2.5 years ago I started my journey back to a healthy lifestyle. I lost 75 pounds. 18 months ago I fell on ice and sustained a back and neck injury and a concussion that resulted in a brain injury. It stopped everything in my life. 1 month ago I started this video. I have balance and coordination issues so I don't use a step. Yet. Today I was finally able to get through the whole video start to finish. Even though I may have been backwards or off time. I have been watching your videos for ehat seems for forever. 1 day I will use a step. 1 day I will be able to follow one of your regular videos. For now this is my pace. Thank you for breaking it down. 💜

      I am just starting. I am 73. I don’t find it all that hard to do the workout w/o a step which is on order. The hardest part is keeping up. On days when I feel a little slow, I can slow the speed to .75, but when you do that, the workout takes longer, sooo I won’t do that too often. Really enjoying this music and the high energy level. I also try to do a few minutes every day at work. After a week I am already feeling less stiff! I am going to get healthy . . . . . God bless

      I have been watching his videos for a while unfortunately I didn't take a class or purchase a video. Then earlier this year I fell and I hurt myself pretty bad.     My best friend and I started this a month ago Mon-Fri and we were tired after just a few minutes for a good two weeks. Now we start at 18:26 for our warm up then transition to the easy stuff....Keep going everyone! It gets easier. Thank you Phil!

    Where can I get one of those steppers?? Ur amazing.. I cried at one of ur videos because the way u push people is amazing! They way ur team encourages people that struggles to get through the 30-50 steps.. I felt her pain! But she did it!!! Thank u Phil!!! U doing amazing things for all people!!! Especially for women!     AMAZING,first time I did aerobics was in 97,since then it seems like step faded or changed,I love the energy you bring and Ive never seen a male instructor before,thx for putting the class out there for me to find,Im 58 and the old step aerobics can get boring,looking forward to learning all your moves thanx!!

    Yayyyyyyyyy..love this video, more current, happy that I finally got the L-Step & L-Step with a twist after rewinding for 30 min.😂.L-Step was the hardest for me😁😁💃🏾💃🏾.I finally mastered all the callouts in this video. Is there a beginners part 2, because from watching your other videos you have so many call outs..Me and my girls are getting ready😁😊❤🙏🏽

    I start today an this the first time I got a sweat real sweat I feel confident I'm going to lose weight u are a great instructor great teacher this gone get me up everyday keep doing what you doing I'm try to keep Learning the moves cause I don't listen so u are great focus. U ARE AWESOME.

    Thank u Phil for this video... i must be lightweight slow because i bought 2 of the videos i am 330lbs and for some reason the music makes it seem faster than what they are. So i deeply appreciate this because there was NO music in the beginning. lol. #GETTNTHISWEIGHTOFF

    I finally dusted off my stepper and did this. Such a fun energizing workout. It was a struggle but I’ll get it in a few weeks! Looking forward to showing out and doing the lives one day! 🙂

    This is my step go-to video! I hit a plateau and wasn’t making progress until I started this workout. I’ve done it 6 days in a row and have lost a pound each day (changing nothing else)! Excited to keep it going 🙌🏼

    My girlfriends and I have started a virtual fitness class every morning at 6am before the kids get up for school. We've been trying to get the steps and working only side of the beginner's video, this one is the best because it really breaks the steps down and allow you to follow along without feeling lost. This is awesome! Thank you we all appreciate this one!

      I did a routine today without the step because of a bum knee and the energy was crazy. As soon as this knee is fixed STEPPING is ON!! Phil I need the basics tnx for the video

    Well I am definitely a black women with no rhythm but I really enjoyed this beginner video, it was really fun, still trying to learn all of the moves but I did get my heart rate up. Thank you for this class.
