You really wanna just carry the teleporter with you. Then when you find a big vein, you dig a shallow shaft, put the teleporter at the bottom then fill it with ores. By the time you finish fighting the next wave, they should usually all have been sent back to the dome.
they changed with the last update, Teleporter no longer works during wave defense

The drill strength is (theoretically) infinite, the last upgrade can be bought multiple times like the dome repair, except it costs more each time.

You never realise how big your carry strength is, you were taking 6 iron up at once when your carry strength was level 3!
End game he could carry 20+ and bearly be affected
The teleporter is way faster for resources than the lift. You put it in a single with hole and just throw resources into the hole with it and forget about them.
the lift can be good, but you have to invest more into it.
also the lift doesn't lift during combat so it pauses which sucks

Hi DF! I don't know why I'm choosing this as the video to comment on, but I've been watching your videos for awhile and I literally watch all of your videos and anticipate the next one every day. You obviously get this a lot, but you are soooooo funny and I always laugh multiple times while watching your videos. You have a very special skill or aura because some of the games you play I probably wouldn't find that interesting at first glance, but your commentary and the way you play always makes it 1000% better. 17:20 it’s funny that you read and acknowledged the fact you will no longer be able to teleport back and then you start being confused why it won’t take you back even though you (acknowledged) that you couldn’t, at least until you got the perk to regain the ability to teleport back, that you also (acknowledged).

Your goal should be to find a pocket of all three resource types nearby and then plant that seed it will grow into a much bigger tree and plant a crap ton more and if it's closer to your base closer to the surface mainly the faster it will grow and that means that if it's surface level with Cobalt iron and water then that means you'll get one every half bar half a bar of monsters getting your in way I would advise you to listen

Did you know that if you press "exit" in the middle of a fight, the game pauses so you can do upgrades to repair your dome?

for the tree seed you want to put it on a vein with all 3 ores ideally so that it will you give all of them every few turns
Would love to see you mod this game and do something crazy like 100x iron or super laser + super enemys
as someone who plays DK alot and knows a couple tricks, this was fun (all be it painful) to watch! Hope DF puts more time into this game and does some prestige modes for an insane highscore (and maybe use the sword swing better, the father the swing the more DMG it'll do instead of small slices side to side do big swings) Also fast stab is better (imo) than longer stab it recharges way faster

Drop the seed on top of the ore and wait for it to grow for that material. Some times u have to wiggle it because it is a little buggy. Until u see roots your good to go mining 😁

Put the seed on ores. If you find 2 or 3 types of ores next to each other put the seed there and it will provide you with those ores. (I think that is how it works)
