- The amount of destruction you can cause with this many arrows is absolutely crazy. This game keeps taking up more and more of my spare time because its just too fun. I still have to get the biggest bounty possible though...

Not only that, there were so many points where he complains about starting to get overwhelmed while he was already overkilling in a single shot.

if you get 100% crit chance crit chance, upgrades disappear from the upgrade pool making it easier to get other upgrades
Not only that, but does crit damage really matter if you don't have full criteria chance? And same with attack speed and damage.
@@miketaets1682 crit damage would do way better if you have capped crit, because then every crit upgrade would upgrade all your damage

"it's not a ton of attack speed" has god knows how many attack speed reductions.
Yea, he rly needed to take atk spd a lot more than he was to make up for all those reductions, tho thankfully other abilities made up for that heh
still got far but the dmg reduction definitely hurt him the most

Idea. I'm pretty sure cooldown affects the rotating projectiles. Those projectiles also seem to benefit from piercing upgrades (they seem to last longer?). I'd like to see what happens if you stack piercing and cooldown so that you spawn more projectiles and they last longer.
I'm pretty sure those cap at 20 projectiles, so you'd basically just always have 20 arrows around you
@@fuzzyface4515 I tried it and they didn't last forever. It was really disappointing. That was a while ago though and maybe they fixed it by now.
@@shanecar84 Maybe there's a distance cap on the arrows? I feel like someone mentioned that once.
@@edelta88 Nah, travel distance shouldn't matter here. The idea is: get the arrows that circle around you, combined with arrows pierce on critical hit and 100% critical chance. They should stay circling around you permanently at that point. When I tried it, they would still disappear after just a few hits
@@shanecar84 When I tried it, it was back in August. I tried it again today and it doesn't work anymore. :(
His complete and utter refusal to even acknowledge that AOE/Cool-down improvements and Dash improvements are a thing is the most DF thing he could possibly do...but that doesn't make it any less maddening.
Especially since increasing his AoE affects his pickup radius... which means more levels and more damage.
@A Cat with a RUclips channel he also learned to go with base damage more often than crit damage. the man does lern and has improved. op is just a whiner.
@@jacobe2995 I mean, they do have a point. Long time fan of DF and he's not always the best at improving and tends to ignore synergies, if not picking up bad abilities, such as targetting deputies. Calling people a whiner because they don't agree with you invalidates your argument. It's ad hominem. I love his casual attitude and nature, but I can see why it gets frustrating.
Unless they changed it, I would sometimes just ignore crit chance and go for the upgrade which gives 100% crit for 1.5 seconds on dash, which is a little misleading, it actually gives +1.5 seconds of 100% crit, so if you can dash often enough you get guaranteed crits for basically the whole game...

The target deputy item is always bad for DF and he never realizes it.. so is slow movement speed
Slow all projectiles around him is also guaranteed death

If you beat a round as Serra on Infamy 10, she permanently has the Bowgun upgrade, which is the one that ramps up your attack speed while sitting still. It's a lot of fun to start runs with that upgrade and hope for the "attack speed increases while enemies are close" to combo into an insane attack speed build.

I'll never understand why you refuse to get 100% crit chance. It's overall a very worthwhile thing because it makes EVERY SINGLE THING have a modifier and increase your overall damage...
Ye I dint get that either, its would of been so easy to get the last 25%. Plus since he had such huge crit damage not criting 25% of the time meant that he was losing 10k+ damage every 4 shots on average.

7:42 the cactus halves your attack speed but gives you double damage every time the cool down pops.
The amount of times DF makes me facepalm based on his choices ... yet he is like an adorable puppy you cant blame for his mistakes.

I like the chaotic energy, I play the same way. You could turn off damage numbers, explosions and such, but usually you keep all on. A la "either you game are strong enough to survive or deserve to die"

That character, Serra, automatically comes with the upgrade that increases your attack speed when you don't move
He has to beat the game on a higher infamy level first I think. Unless they changed it since I last played
I put this on to watch and my cat loves all the stuff flying across the screen he's trying to catch everything adorable
So, you picked the slow all projectiles around you (which is a bad one without combination with something else I'd think) then you show your character as instantly dying, what killed your character?? This video was interesting up until the very end there. I always wonder why you take the do more damage after a dash but dashing hurts you, that ability seems to kill you a lot. man, every time with that "shoot fast but lose 2/3rds damage" buff, it kills his runs.

food for thought, projectile bounce is a multiplier to total damage output to "everything that's alive" and crit/damage/speed is damage output to "that one scary thing".
A lot of big bullets make DF a happy man. Conclusion, DF needs more big bullets.

if you are taking crit dmg ans attack speed, get 100% crit chance. as the more arrows you fire the more times you won't crit, and the more damage gets lost.

If you can get that far without knowing much of the game, I can't imagine how broken you'll get when you start learning the strats. Like NOT picking the "shoot fast but deal less damage" thing. This is a run killer.

with that amount of attack speed the 25% less crit chance is basically 25% less overall damage dealt

The 4 times less damage upgrade seems like a big nono. It drastically reduces the effectiveness of other skills that deal % of your damage. Also, if you have a huge crit multi, you should prolly go for 100% crit chance, too.

Df: Damage is Damage which deals damage which equals more damage👍
the upgrade where you stand still you get more speed does exist and the achievment beat infamy level ten with serra gives you that upgrade at the start and the upgrade is called bowgun
that TAUNT ABILITY is AREA DEPENDANT, it wont activate untill they get close enough XD
I envy you DF... 3 hearts means I die on one hit on infamy 15.

Here's a dumb idea: Only choose the highest rarity upgrade available. But if theres two of the same upgrade that are the rarity then you choose what you want

Df, when you get the 4 times attack speed 3 times less damage it’s better to take the attack speed upgrades because they are 4 times better, meaning if you get a legendary attack speed upgrade you would technically get 4 legendary attack speed upgrades

20:36 : "that upgrade that goes the longer i hold still the faster i fire" Yes thats still a thing and there is a way to get it EVERY TIME.
You should try defeating the boss with infamy 10
and once you beat the boss at infamy 10 you unlock her ability.
The ability gives you that upgrade (standing still= faster shooting) at the start of EVERY GAME
It's a bit grindy getting to infamy 10 and you probably won't get any good vids while you get there but once you do its very OP.
